The company was officially named BI-LO in 1963 after Outlaw conducted an employee store-naming contest to develop the "brand." His secretary, Edna Plumblee, won the contest by submitting the name "BI-LO." So I first need to say before you shop here you better sign up for the Bi-Lo rewards card. I always end up saving a bunch of money when I'm shopping here and it's quick and simple. Shop the deals! Use the coupons! This is a fantastic store that has a wide variety of items. The deli is good and if you want some fried chicken you can get some dinner items here too. They have pretty decent produce section, not as good as a farmer's market but not as bad as a super Walmart. Don't forget to use your Bi-Lo rewards at the end and watch those savings drop off the receipt!

They informed me that because I had not used it the day it was purchased they were not responsible for the card. They then informed me that someone in Florida had been using the card. I live in augusta and the card was purchased in augusta. The insinuation that I had stolen the card or someone I knew stole and was using the card was quite hurtful. This card was a gift for my anniversary I only have had the card 2 weeks. The staff was unprofessional, unkind, and unwilling to help. As a senior citizen and a veteran I am ashamed to have to be treated with such disrespect. I intend never to shop in this store again. And I feel others should avoid purchasing gift cards from their. AS they might be stolen, and the store will not replace them. If there are any questions about my experience you can email me at Ummivory@yahoo.com, Synthia.abdulhaqq

Bacon and cheddar potato chips, 10 different flavors of hummus, pastries with a count beyond your imagination. Just anything and everything within their four walls. I'm not sure why it closed or if Harvey's the new supermarket is taking over Bi-Lo locations. The setup seemed the same, but of course the branding was different. There were tons of other deals around the store but, that was just an example of how this store was needed for the budget conscious consumer like myself!!!! They also have a $1 aisle were there are all types of things that are $1 each. I've heard some of my friends already say they will never shop anywhere else for groceries again.
