Was looking for a handyman/plumber for some light work to be done. Finally connected with Israel. He came to my home. I was recovering from cancer and he shared with me how he helped his girlfriend when she was recovering too. He walked through my home, gave me an estimate and promised to call me the next day. He was going to Fallbrook to look for the pantry that I wanted installed. All this occurred on Tuesday June 25th. Today is Sunday Aug 25th and I've yet to hear back from him. Very disappointing. I've since got all the work done by someone else but nonetheless I'm curious more than anything why I never heard back. read more

Says one thing in a text and never follows thru. We set up a date to go look at windows for my bathroom, which he was going to redo, I had a medical condition and had to cancel that day. He said no problem we'll do it tomorrow and I responded OK. He never showed up. Jackie P. read more

I've had Israel & his people do many different projects for my friends & family. He has always been punctual & fair with everything! On many occasions he has gone above & beyond his duties, & it has been noticed & greatly appreciated. As for the people who wrote the one star reviews-there's always two sides to every story and no matter what , & you can't make everybody happy. I will continue to do business with KJF Handyman, because I have had nothing but good experiences. read more

I made a handyman on yelp, and Israel came to fix it that same day within hours. Very efficient and reasonably priced.

Israel came and took a look at the job. It was simple job of installing a plywood to increase the height of the washer. He quoted me a lump sum amount but he wouldn't be transparent about itemizing his bill and when I asked him more questions about how the job will be done, he backed out. I can source materials at a lower rate but he wasn't willing to let me know what materials he will need. Someone who can't be transparent about the job and/ or their charges can't be trusted. read more

Super pleased with KJF Handyman! My husband I were out for a walk and stumbled on KJF Handyman working at another house in our neighborhood. We'd been looking for a vendor to remove a rather large trellis shared between us and our neighbor, then patch and paint. That night my husband completed the online form and Israel was in touch with him the next morning and out within an hour to give us an estimate. The estimate was very reasonable and the quick turnaround on the work was exactly what we were hoping for. We gave Israel the go ahead and he and Robert showed up on time, removed the trellis, patched and painted and were done before we new it. Israel and Robert were friendly and professional. They also went ubove and beyond tackling a couple of items as a courtesy that weren't part of the job. My husband and I highly recommend KJF Handyman! Thank you Israel and Robert! read more

Israel did a great job for us. our laundry room had some leaks and the ceiling fell out. He fixed the whole mess. He found an additional leak and fixed that. He also found some termites and treated that. I appreciate how thorough he is and lets you know of additional problems while you have everything torn apart, it's easier to fix. I highly recommend him. He also previously had installed a security door on that same laundry room and did a good job on that and was fairly priced. I highly recommend KJF. read more

We hired Israel to rehang a bathroom door, install a new kitchen sink and to tile a tub apron. We purchased the sink and already had the tile. Israel and his employee complete the jobs in half a day. They did a great job and for a little extra hauled away the sink and other material We would hire him again. read more

A simple faucet replace I thought so I tried it myself. The bolts under the kitchen sink were well out of reach and corroded as well. I contest KJF and he came out the next morning and was able to get the new faucet installed nicely. read more

I hired Israel to help me create a frame to hold a 12x12x35ft batting cage net for my son, for his birthday, during the Covid-19 pandemic. Israel was quick to respond and available to help for a reasonable price. He picked up the lumber and arrived the day that we agreed upon and went to work..The following day he worked a full day at another job, but still came by my house in the evening and worked into the night just to get it finished for me. That said a lot about him to me.. and gave him a tip on top of what we agreed upon. Keep up the good work Israel! read more

Needed someone to help me hang a large picture. Isreal said he had another job but would be done and here around 4:00pm. After calling him at 5:00 he said he would be here in a little while and ask me to text him my address and I did. Well he got lost and then called me and said he would have to reschedule I could have had several other handy men here today but I stuck with Isreal as he said he would be here!! Reliability and Dependability are important when you have someone counting on you. I would recommend you hire someone that will show up. read more

Would recommend this company to anyone. It was convenient. Super quick! Really easy to schedule! Darlen came by and fixed my doorframe.

Israel responded to my message within 10 minutes. Came out as scheduled and hooked up our washer and dryer connections! He was professional and courteous. Will definitely call him again!!! FIVE STARS!!! read more

Excellent, reliable handyman! We had a slow leak near our washer/dryer and water heater fixed in a tight space. Israel had a full calendar but came over at 8pm to take care of our problem. I initially thought it might have been the water heater since it's 8 years old but he identified it was actually the connection on the washer/dryer and went to home depot for a parts run and fixed it right up! Great knowledge backed up with excellent work ethic. Glad we found ya on here. read more

Israel is a terrific hire to fix anything! I originally had him come by my home to fix a damaged cabinet that most handymen I contacted said that it wasn't able to be fixed. While he was here he helped me out fixing my sliding door and outdoor electrical outlet while waiting for paint to dry on my cabinet. I will definitely be using him in the future as I've already consulted him in fixing my backyard. Highly recommend!!! read more

Israel did a great job fixing the hinge of my bathroom door. While he was here I asked him to check out my bathroom faucets and he was able to fix both of them. He is also working on fixing my shower faucet. Israel is very friendly and his price was reasonable. I will definitely use him again. read more

It's hard to look for anyone reliable nowadays and Israel was definitely reliable the first time I asked for his services. I think its rare to have anyone show up on time and do the job he was asked to do. I asked 4 different businesses for quotes and Israel came back with a reasonable price, but also really quick service. My job was not that big, but Israel was able to squeeze me into his busy work schedule the next day. My job included replacing the broken garbage disposal unit and replacing my worn out mailbox. He unfortunately had a flat tire coming to my place, but was able to communicate with me ahead of time instead of leaving me hanging. Israel is a really nice guy and got the job done within his estimated time frame. I'll definitely utilize his service again for future projects. read more

KJF Handyman came to my home to replace an interior door that unfortunately I had another handyman do first. I wish I would have contacted Israel first. He came, saw what was needed, and took care of everything. He went and bought a new door (since the one I got before was cut way too short). He measured, cut and installed perfectly. He also painted the door for me. The door was professionally installed by Israel. Very convenient, very easy to work with. I recommend using KJF for any home repair necessities. read more

1st CLASS!! Israel is responsive, efficient, fairly priced, punctual and very communicative. After having two handymen try to fix our landscaping lighting and fail, Israel did it!! He is a cut above and if you want a 1st CLASS handyman look no further. We recommend him without reservation read more

Give Israel a call you will not be disappointed. We needed an electrical outlet moved, a gas line moved, and a dishwasher installed. We contacted Israel around noon and he came over as soon as he could later that day. He gave us a great quote on the spot and then started to work right away. After two sessions he was done and we are very happy with the results. We will definitely use him again. read more

Five stars across the board!! I needed a project done ASAP and Israel was over to fix it that same day. He also took care of a much needed project that I have put aside for too long (and by pure luck my house hasn't flooded). Israel was professional, reasonably priced, and did a great job. I will definitely be using him again. read more

Israel fixed my fence and the dry rot in my balcony for a reasonable price. Will definitely be using him again for future fixes

We've had Israel come to our home on three separate occasions over the last couple of months, and I have to say that he is the best handyman we've ever employed. The first time, he installed our new front door, and it looks amazing. He had to trim the frame that the new door came with so that it would fit the space, and it looks seamless. The second and third times, we had a list of various repairs both inside and out of the house, including replacing ventilation fans, repairing some bathroom and kitchen plumbing, installing vents in the garage, installing an expansion tank on the water heater, repairing gutters and drainage issues, and some painting. He did it all! We love Israel's responsiveness and 'can-do' attitude, and highly recommend him! read more

I had an old satellite dish on a second story roof that needed to come down. Israel came by the next day and took care of it quickly and for a great price. I'd definitely consider Israel for my future needs. read more

Isaac called to reschedule twice. Then, he did not show up for the rescheduled appointment. An hour after the set time, he texted me that he would get there as soon as he could. Waited another hour, texted him back, and he said he would leave in 20 minutes to come. I told him not to bother. Not reliable. read more

Israel was very prompt in his initial reply and made scheduling quick and easy. He arrived early for the job and was able to complete it in one trip. Throughout the work he was providing updates on the situation which put us at ease and clearly explained why we had a leak and what he was doing to fix it. Pricing is competitive as well, will definitely be calling him again for any other problems we might encounter! read more
