Owner was a little snarky by email when I expressed frustration at the timing - took all day to deliver when they claim they're a local business. They're not really local to me - they closed that store but still list it so we think they're hyper-local. And rather than just apologizing ("Hey, we're surprisingly busy today") or empathizing in some miniscule way at my frustration, they told me I wasn't important - since I was an individual and not a business or a funeral, I was last in line to receive the flowers for the day. Then, they felt compelled to email again so they made sure they got the last word in the debate. Not professional and not customer-friendly at all. Trying to separate the snarkiness of the after-delivery conversation from the flowers in giving my review. I wouldn't recommend speaking to them - just order online. I'll probably try another place first before I order from them again just because of that. But hey - maybe they were just having a bad day.

Since I'm not familiar with the area I wanted to talk to a live person, not order online. Well, Friendly Flowers answered on the second ring. I didn't get the gentleman's name who went above and beyond to help me but he took the time to discuss what I was looking at on their website and made some suggestions to personalize a tailored, one of a kind arrangement. On Sunday morning when he gave it to me, I had to pull every dead rose (6). By Tuesday, 90% of the flowers were dead. I emailed Allison to share this experience. I never received a response. I shared multiple pictures showing the dead flowers. Still no response. This was disappointing as we have purchased flowers from there before and was never this disappointed, particularly on a birthday. The flowers were stunning, which is the most important part. In addition, when I called a second time after figuring out my mom wasn't going to be around, they worked out a late delivery time and left the flowers in a cool, shaded spot so they weren't wilty when my mom got home. We ordered over a week in advance through fromyouflowers.com. and the order was fulfilled by Ocean City Florist & Gifts, 12909 Coastal Highway, Ocean City, MD 21842. The flowers were delivered to our house on the afternoon of November 1 and the driver was kind enough to bring the flowers into the house for me. When my wife looked at the flowers, she noted that they were wilted and did not look fresh. We just thought they may have needed water, but after checking, the water was full. On November 2, the day after delivery, the damaged petals started to fall off on both of the flower orders. See picture attached.
