I ordered a live flowering plant online to be delivered the next day. A really, really nice man from the Burley called to say the particular plant I ordered is much nicer and prettier in the Springtime so he wouldn't recommend sending it. He offered several alternatives and I chose a cut flower arrangement which he said he would put together and deliver it the next day. My friend called the next day and texted me a picture of the arrangement. It was beautiful and she said it made her house and her happy. Owner was a little snarky by email when I expressed frustration at the timing - took all day to deliver when they claim they're a local business. They're not really local to me - they closed that store but still list it so we think they're hyper-local. And rather than just apologizing ("Hey, we're surprisingly busy today") or empathizing in some miniscule way at my frustration, they told me I wasn't important - since I was an individual and not a business or a funeral, I was last in line to receive the flowers for the day. Then, they felt compelled to email again so they made sure they got the last word in the debate. Not professional and not customer-friendly at all. Trying to separate the snarkiness of the after-delivery conversation from the flowers in giving my review. I wouldn't recommend speaking to them - just order online. I'll probably try another place first before I order from them again just because of that. But hey - maybe they were just having a bad day.

I was very pleased with the flowers for the cocktail hours however was disappointed with the centerpieces for the reception. The picture and discussions we had prior to the event were different than what was provided. We had a lot of greenery with a few roses I expected a little more at the price we were paying per centerpiece. Also we had discussions about boutonnieres and they were supposed to be magnetic connected to the suits but instead they came with pins that were not long enough and unfortunately they were falling off during the ceremony. I will save the bouquets for the bride and the bridesmaids were on point and we're just what we requested. I do recommend because she did work well with us but I would say to follow up on the final product before the day of the event.

I just ordered from them for Mother's Day and feel good about them as their website says they will do no-contact deliveries due to COVID, so I don't have to worry about her safety.
