I called this Seaford Florist from CO and asked if they could deliver a sympathy bouquet to a dear friend who lives in Seaford. They were running low on flowers before the holiday weekend because of a large local funeral. In spite of that, they put together the most beautiful bouquet with what they had left in their stock and delivered it, all in an hour! They were super friendly and compassionate. I was wildly disappointed in the flowers I ordered to be sent to my aunt for Christmas. I ordered the deluxe holiday splendor bouquet, pictured in the first image from the florists website. I ordered online for next day delivery (12/23) but got a phone call at 4:53 pm on 12/23 asking to confirm the address by 5 pm or they would not be delivered until the following day. I was not available for that call, so missed the 7 minute window to reply. I was grateful they would still be delivered on Christmas Eve, however was pretty embarrassed when my aunt sent me a picture thanking me for them. She was very gracious and said they were lovely but they were very clearly not the same quality as what I thought I was purchasing. I did check off that I was fine with substitutes, which I am. However, and it's a big however, I would have expected as artists, that even while substituting, they would still ensure the product be beautiful, and have a quality comparable to the arrangement it was meant to replace. As you can see in the arrangement received, my aunt got more vase and bow than she did flowers. Every person I've shown the picture to has remarked the same, that the vase is bigger than the flowers. The measurements on the website stated the arrangement would be roughly 16 inches wide and while I didn't ask my aunt to get out the ruler, I'm pretty sure I can tell by the image, it was not 16 inches wide. This was my first time ordering from this florist, as I am not from the area and my aunt has only recently moved there, but I would not order from them again. read more

I ordered a dish garden for a funeral. I chose the one I wanted from the website. I discussed the one I wanted and how it should look. when I went to the funeral I tried to look for it. I saw the plastic the plastic flower pot with some petunia in it. And thought who in the world would ever put that in the church. Come to found out it was mine. Very red faced. My boyfriend & I went in to ask if they did prom corsages & boutonnieres. The lady was very snippy & didn't provide much information. I asked her 2-3 questions about the prices depending on the flowers, size & etc. She said it didn't matter the size or what kind of flowers/how much detail each item had. She gave me a price of $20 for the corsage. After asking some questions, I left (w some questions unanswered) because I felt as if I was a bother. Went back a week later (I had to wait to be paid) to order both items & the price jumped up to $46 for both.. corsage was $30 & boutonniere was $6. I ended up ordering but still wasn't happy. I picked them up on prom day, kept them in the container, unopened, in the fridge (like she said). Took the flowers out 30 minutes before grand march & they were half brown after an hour & a half. My date's boutonniere looked fine but the corsage looked so bad, I ended up taking it off. Have been using Wendy's shop for monthly deliveries to my folks for at least 3 years and for holidays prior 2 years. Always different arrangements with limit of $x. Never exceeded it have always had a happy mom. They went as far as to find my folks on vacation in Florida and had the arrangement sent to her there! Met Wendy and Kelly the designer today. 2 totally awesome ladies. Listening to how they come up with arrangement was cool too. Their shop in Blades, DE quaint and old-style but lots of good smells! I can't say enough good about the customer service I received from Wendy at Seaford Florist. I called at 3:30pm asking for a balloon delivery to a local hospital for 2 year old grandson. Their delivery driver had already left for the day but another employee offered to drop the balloons off on her way home. The balloons made the little guys day.... My boyfriend used a bouquet of roses from seaford florists to propose and they were beautiful. So it only made sense to go to them when it came time to plan our wedding. I met with Tammie to discuss what arrangements we were thinking of. She went above and beyond any Pinterest pictures so showed her. The flowers she used pulled our wedding together so elegantly and perfectly. She matched our colors flawlessly and our guests had nothing but amazing things to say about our centerpieces and bouquets. I would recommend seaford florists to anyone. Could not be more dissapointed with what was delivered to my girlfriend on our anniversary. When she got home from work, which is were i had them delivered, i was in shock when i saw the arrangement. It did not meet the size description from their website. $120 dissapointment. read more
