What a cute place to visit. The landscape beds are well maintained and have loads of flowers to see. I visited in a time when all of the lavender flowers have stopped blooming, but I'm sure those fields looks beautiful with all the purple. There is a cute gift shop as well to get some souvenirs and lavender oils, soaps, and lotion. Highly recommend if your near.

The Lavender is blooming! Our third time here. The gift shop is really cute. Try their soaps, lavender sachets and lavender bug sprays. The Gardens are very pretty with different touches like a purple bicycle, a bunny and little fairies sprinkled in. Walk to the back to see where the new bee hives are. No honey to sell yet. Also there is a art Studio with two artists who were there that do stain glass, oil and pastels on canvas for sale. Bring your camera or iPhone to take some pix!

You will walk away peaceful.

A beautiful farm with a friendly staff! Took photos here today & there were so many great spots for great shots! The country cottage was so cute and smelled heavenly. The staff were super friendly when I spoke to them on the phone and in person. Will be back to try out the cafe! read more

I love this farm . Yes they grow lavender and sell lavender products in the store on the farm. I feel as if I'm in Provence, France and the smell is amazing, relaxing, and spiritually uplifting. Great photo session . Bring your camera . You can walk around the lavender gardens and feel inspired to go home and plant your own lavender field. This would be a perfect spot for a wedding. Of course the people who work here are amazing and wear purple clothes. I cant go here without spending money in the store. I bought two sachets of lavender and the most fragrant lavender bundle. I cant decide if the lavender is going in my pillowcase, my drawers, or tossing in my dryer with my laundry. read more

A disappointing welcome by new ownership. Returned to this lovely farm with my sketching group. We are not professional artists, just meet outdoors to do very informal art. We don't sell our art. We intended to shop for gifts and plants, and dine at the cafe after some plein aire sketching. They wanted each of us to pay a $50 fee to sketch! Bye, bye, Lavender Fields. We went to Milton, sketched, ate, and spent our money there. read more

This is the perfect spot for a tranquil, fragrant stroll on a sunny afternoon. You are left free to walk through the lavender gardens at your own pace. They have a shop on the premises that sells a variety of lavender items including culinary lavender which I purchased and have enjoyed using on several occasions since. Giving it 4 stars when in fact it should be 5. As this place is great and awesome, I just wish it went on for miles. The shop they have is really nice and cute, and the prices are reasonable for so many hand made items. I like how everyone is so easy going here and you pretty much can run around and no one will bother you. read more

While the Lavender farm is wonderful to visit, the art cottage leaves something to be desired. 1/10 of the space is taken by a cute dog that the artist must own. The dog looked like she needed some attention so my daughter pet it. The artist suddenly turned to us and loudly said, "Did you pet her? She can't be pet unless she's sitting down!" She was abrupt and rude. We immediately left and it's a shame her demeanor ruined an otherwise beautiful visit to the farm. read more

Wonderful place to visit. It is a lavender farm which is beautiful when it is in bloom. The farms has very nice grounds to enjoy, from many gardens to a secret path in the woods, picnic area, and a bird center. There is also a very nice cottage store with everything lavender, and I mean everything. Groups can schedule visits and a talking tour of the farm. I has several perfect settings for wedding ceremonies. Check it out! read more

They were having a special event--with info about pertinent gardening topics, and I signed up for a great sea glass Art class with the C Sisters. This center has great plant options, a wonderful gift shop, a variety of monthly art classes (including a series for younger children) and even leads field trips. I will definitely sign up for the private tour of the Delaware Botanic Gardens that they lead. The staff is friendly and helpful, too. Definitely check out this lovely garden center!!

Things went downhill after the first hour as it was getting crowded, and customers were waiting in the parking lot hoping to snag a cart from someone leaving. by 10:30 it was so crowded, with cutomers as well as employees trying to move racks of plants around, that it was often necessary to wait for someone to pass, before I could walk down a main aisle heading in the opposite direction. I had to check out twice, and both times the owner (Mr. Pepper) and his wife were at the counter. Both tended to speak only to the girl working the register, but when necessary to ask me for clarification (like "Is this your's too?" kind of thing), the tone was curt and to the point, delivered without a smile. It was busy, I get that there's little time for chit-chat, but it felt a little like being in line at the Soup Nazi (Seinfeld, Season 7, Episode 6). But, I wouldn't be writing this review if it weren't for what I realized this morning: Every single basil plant I bought is actually a dozen or so plants growing together in a small pot. I bought seven, and when picking them out I was curious as to why they were so small. Now I know. This seems to be a trend I've noticed, at both Lowe's and Home Depot, where several plants are crammed into one pot to create the illusion of a larger plant with an established root system. Crowded roots become suppressed roots, thus a stunted plant that does not thrive. This **can** be seen by some as a plus, but I find it misleading, and it is not a proper potting method for growing healthy plants. The basils ranged from $2.95 to $3.95. And last, I never did see where the restrooms were, but one of the friends I was with, who has been here many times, shook her head when I asked where it was, saying, "You don't want to go in there." Maybe it was an outhouse? I took her advice and visited Royal Farms on the way home. In summary, it is worth going to, but be ready for a less than enjoyable experience, unless you arrive and leave early. Get there early to get a cart, don't expect "friendly" service if it's busy, and check the stems of whatever you consider buying to see if multiple plants are potted.

The produce here is fresh and comes of of farms whenever its in season it's local farms but out of season it's from farms down south. It always comes directly from farms and so therefore it's pretty fresh produce. The prices are reasonable and the young lady Mattie who works the stand is very polite and helpful.
