My wife and I began using Kitty Koncierge as our sole cat sitter approximately 2 years ago, until we left and moved to Boston in 2017. I recommend Lisa/Kitty Koncierge without reservations. In all the cat-sitters my wife and I have used in the past, Lisa is the only one we've seen who treats her role so professionally. This was demonstrated not only via the certifications she has obtained, but by her actions. With the daily updates and videos that she provides for each of her visits, it is very clear that she spent the quality time with our pets and gave them the same level of care that we would ourselves, and that our cats loved her (note: they don't like many people, other than my wife and I!). She was immediately responsive whenever we needed her. There were also a couple unexpected occasions where she was even willing to go above and beyond her role as a pet sitter to help us with non-pet related events that occurred even though it was clearly not expected or required of her to do so. It is this type of professionalism that makes Lisa standout from others. Her diligence was also demonstrated by her ability to care for 3 older /complex cats. We initially had 2 older cats 15 and 20+ years of age, and inherite another 20 year old cat in the time when we were in CT. These cats had a lot of special needs in terms of diet, medicines, etc. to the point that my wife and I minimized our traveling significantly, and would not leave them even a single night without some care. Finding someone that we could trust such as Kitty Koncierge, provided us with a significant amount of comfort when we did have to leave our cats, whether for a day or extended period of time. It was clear they were getting the attention that they needed, and we knew that we could reach Lisa if there were any issues. This was important because for us, because our cats are our family and we would have expected the same quality of care for them as we would a human relative; and Lisa provided this. Since moving to Boston, we had even entertained the possibility of compensating Lisa to travel to Boston to care for our cats/house sit if we ever needed someone for an extended time. The two older cats are no longer with us, so it's no longer necessary to consider this. Lisa would be the only person we would have even contemplated discussing this with, as we knew how rare it was to find a real professional for something as important as taking care of our cats (ie family). I normally don't take the time to write reviews, especially ones that are this long. However, in this case, the care of our pets is something that is extremely important to my wife and I, and it's the least I could do for Lisa who provided a significant benefit to us over the years. I am so grateful for the services that Lisa, from Kitty Koncierge, provided by taking care of our cat, Simba, while we were in Italy for 2 weeks. We chose to Kitty Koncierge because of a terrific first experience a couple of years ago. Lisa, the owner, came every day and played with him. In addition, he had spa day on Friday, catnip Saturday. She took him outside almost daily (weather dependent). He is a shy cat, but she made him feel so comfortable that he developed his own way of playing that is unique to her. We got videos everyday which was important in helping us know that he was in great care, and more importantly, he was content. I appreciate Lisa's understanding of caring for Simba and understanding that pet owners can be anxious about leaving them behind. I highly recommend her services. I love Lisa! She took care of my beloved cat on multiple occasions I lost count. My cat who is scared of all people in general warmed up to her in 1 day! She took atleast 2 10-15 minute videos of my cat and sent them to me every day while I was away. This really helps when one is a crazy cat lady. She left my place spotless and my cat so happy. I don't think my cat realized I was away. She followed all of my annoying, crazy, detailed instructions to the dot. Plus she is so prompt at everything; she came 5 minutes early to any meeting/key hand-off. She also emails back so quickly. Once she apologized for being late in responding (when it had only been an hour!) What a great business she runs. She truly is a cat whisperer and I am so sad to be moving away from New Haven. Lisa Manfredi from Kitty Koncierge has been kitty sitting for us since June of 2015. We have gone away many times and never had to worry about Bella as Lisa comes faithfully every day. She also sends us daily reports via email with a video attached. Lisa always calls to check up on us to make sure we have come home so that Bella will be fed and taken care of. She is very pleasant, honest and trust worthy. Our house is left in spotless condition when we come home. She does anything we ask of her like watering plants, taking in mail, etc. While we were in Florida one time, our alarm went off and we were all away so I called Lisa to ask if she would go to our house and check it out which she did and she followed up with a call to us to tell us everything inside the house and outside was ok. I have worked with Lisa for several out of town cat sitting visits. She is very trustworthy and seems to genuinely care for our cat. She is knowledgeable and professional. She will send videos and email updates regularly, so you do not need to be concerned about your pet. I also found that if I had a problem with the house, she was able to deal with it. For example, she took care of our mail, including a box that arrived while we were gone, and also checked up on the hot tub. We have a high maintenance house and there is always something that needs checking up on. When we returned, our cat was not "freaked out" or "stressed" at all. That actually sometimes happens when my husband is home alone and I am gone, because he has long work hours and she feels nervous when I am gone. read more

The way Lisa cares for cats is impeccable, the way cats and her connect is honestly out of this world. I have never seen someone care for cats the way she does. She is attentive, and gives the cats she watches all of her attention for several hours a day which is something they need when their owners are out of town for an extended period of time. Having someone you can trust come into your home and take care of your pride and joy to the best of their ability isn't something you come across everyday. For as long as I've known Lisa, her love for cats has only grown. Lisa goes above and beyond for my senior kitty. My little lady is 17-years-old, and is picky with who she lets into her life, but loves Lisa! Lisa gives my kitty her meds, feeds her, empties the littler box, and sends me videos of the two of them hanging out. Though my cat is not particularly playful anymore, Lisa will just sit with her and spend time with her when she comes to visit. That is all my kitty really wants these days, so it's perfect. Lisa has also taken care of our puppy. He usually comes with us on trips, so it is often just the cat (who is NOT interested in traveling) at home, but when she has watched the dog, I have felt very comfortable with her walking him and taking care of him as well. read more

Lisa is the best pet sitter we've ever had. She's professional and personable--and she clearly loves cats. We really appreciated getting to know her during the introduction meeting before our trip. It really helped establish trust early on. While we were away, Lisa fed and played with our cat, Moonshine, for an hour, twice daily. Each time, she sent us a detailed email update along with two or three videos of playtime. She even brought extra toys! Her thoroughness was very reassuring. Lisa is fantastic! Unfortunately we lost both of our cats within a year and Lisa was there for us, greatly assisting us with medication dispensing, veterinarian visits and house sitting.
