We have used Sarah's Petsitting for many years now. We have always been very happy with the care that they give our pets. They always give a full report at each visit including many photos. We always enjoy seeing the photos while away. We can see how happy they are. It is also nice how they check on our house too and bring in packages. I would like to give them a special shout out for the care that they gave our pets while we were away during a recent large snowstorm. We were concerned that they wouldn't be able to make it to our house because of the severity of the storm. they kept in touch and made sure that there was enough food and water for our fur babies in case they wee unable to make it back at the scheduled time. We didn't want them to endanger themselves and knew that they would be fine if they couldn't make it back. All went well and they reported back to us the next morning when the roads were cleared and they could make it back. They dug out a spot on the deck for our dog to get out and go the the bathroom and all was well. This is a great company and they truly love the pets that they are taiga care of. read more

DON'T AND I REPEAT DON'T ever work for this company! They are absolutely terrible to work for and are like highway robbery to there employees! You get paid almost absolutely nothing to be running around like a mad man for them! They told me when I was hired that they have a hard time getting employees to stay in my area and now I can see why! They are absolutely terrible. Oh and get this when you are only human like we all are and make a honest mistake of accidentally locking yourself out of a clients house(which you were eventually able to get into and the clients said it was no worries at all) they think that this is a appropriate reason to fire someone even when it all worked out in the end and you apologized profusely! And you were told numerous times during your training that this has happened before and we all make mistakes and that they have had to call locksmiths to get into clients houses before and they kept those employees! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND NEVER WORK FOR THEM!!!! ITS NOT WORTH IT THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU! read more

They are the best. They take the time to get to know your pets. They then report back and send pictures after every visit and include updates of what they did during their visit (empty litter box, filled their treat ball etc.). You schedule each visit within a 2 hour window, so your pets get to eat at the same time they are used to eating. Great easy to use app to update pet profiles, request what you want done for each visit, and pay. I have tried other sitters (friends, neighbors etc) and never quite knew what was going on, or came hours late. I will never again use anyone else. I highly recommend Sarah's pet sitting. We had a last minute cancellation with another private sitter before a trip that left us in a tough spot. I passed by Sarah's sign a few days before and was so glad I did! I was able to easily request services from Sarah's online and was called with about 30 min to set up a meet and greet and get us all situated. Their sitters are excellent communicators and regularly send reports/updates and pictures that you can access through their app. The initial meeting was perfect. We chatted and the sitter got to know our pets, our routine, where everything is, etc. Very organized. The intake form is pretty long, but seriously it's very helpful to give as much info. Plus they can administer meds if needed. This is a great option for those whose pets either can't or don't do well at a kennel/day care. Unbelievably great! We were very worried leaving our two cats behind during our vacation- they can be very shy and i didn't know how they would react to a new person coming into the house... my fears were unfounded. From the very beginning Sarah's pet sitting was wonderful. It began with an on-site meeting with one of the pet sitters- we went over the house with her, our pets schedule, and she had some time to meet our cats. In addition there is a very robust website where you can give more detailed instructions in regards to feeding, watering, playing with the pats, and even things like taking out the homes trash and making sure lights are kept on at night. Everyday we were delighted to find that we would receive email updates with pictures, telling us how our pets were doing and what activities were done with them.I was even able to confirm via our security cameras that the pet sitters were indeed at home for the scheduled amount of time (30 minutes). All the pet sitters used were kind, caring, very pleasant with our pets, and did a great job. They even cleaned up after one of our cats after they had a hairball. For the amount of service we received , and for the peace of mind we had during the entire week we were away I more than think that Sarah's pet sitting is a wonderful value. read more

This review is solely based on our experience using Sarah's Pet Sitting for dog training. We adopted an 11 month old puppy a few months ago and within a week of having him home we knew we were in BIG TROUBLE!! He was definitely a handful and my wife and I had no idea how to handle him. He seemed to have what we thought were aggressive tendencies, which was a huge issue with a 2 year old and a newborn at home. We reached out to Sarah's Pet Sitting for help. Honestly, there aren't words to describe how thankful we are to have found them! Laura is the dog trainer and has literally changed our puppy and our lives! We had our first session in our home and within the hour there was an IMMEDIATE change! We were so impressed with how Laura interacted with the dog and how she not only showed us techniques, but explained the reasoning behind her methods! Unfortunately after the first session our puppy seemed to start acting up in a very "aggressive" manor. There was a point my wife and I contacted Laura and discussed our options for turning our little guy in due to his "aggressive" behaviors. Laura was so kind and helpful, and didn't judge us for wanting to surrender him. We ultimately decided we couldn't give up on him, so Laura came out the very next night to help assess the behavior and see what she thought. To our relief, she explained that basically he wasn't being aggressive at all, he was just frustrated and throwing puppy tantrums! She showed us exactly how to deal with the behavior and after only a week he is SO much better!! We are now able to control him and properly deal with these tantrums! We understand that this is going to be a process, and take time and effort.... but bottom line... we have no idea what we would have done without Laura's help and expertise! She has literally changed the whole dynamic of the house after only 3 visits, and the dog continues to do better and better! We are so thankful for what she has done and we have no hesitation on recommending her services to anyone. Her pricing is ridiculously fair compared to other companies out there (trust me, get some quotes and see for yourself) and the results are better than we ever would have expected! Don't hesitate! I have been using Sarah's Pet Sitting for almost 4 years and I am 100% happy with their service, and most importantly, so are my dogs! Excellent, friendly and accommodating dog walkers come in daily while I'm at work and walk my dogs, play with them and give them treats. Also, when I am away on a vacation, one of their regular walkers stays with them overnight and gives them breakfast and a walk in the morning. I just came home from being away visiting my human family for basically the whole month of August, and my dogs are happy and well cared for, having been able to stay in their own home the whole time. We usually have family take care of our little girl when we go away but when it came time for the whole family to go on vacation together we didn't know what to do. We didn't want to board her and we didn't want just anyone to come in and out of our home. Then our sitter came to meet us before we left and he was so comforting. He gave us his cell number and brought a notebook that he left on our kitchen counter to fill in on every visit with Franky... and Franky loved him immediately. Every day we were away I got a text whenever a visit was complete along with some details about the visit and a picture of ms Franky...and an email as well. It was amazing. When we returned we had our happy puppy, a pile of mail on the counter, and a notebook full of details about her visits, which was really fun to read through. We have two cats, one is a diabetic with kidney issues requiring both two insulin injections per day and one subcutaneous fluid treatment, as well as a specific diet. We had major work celebration to attend but it required an overnight stay. We needed very specific medical pet care, preferably by a vet tech who happens to pet sit. Sarah's Pet Sitting Service came to our rescue. We worked with them by sending them instructions about care, because cats hate change on principle so we wanted SPSS to have an idea of what the cats expect. The pet sitters also sent us email reports with photos AND updated a notebook/diary of each visit which we left by the cat food. Of course, our cats offered them challenges--no fighting, just evasionary tactics--and the skilled pet sitters improvised, plus let us know in their reports what they did to get the job done. If I could give them a zero rating I would. They watched my dogs on two separate occasions. The first time was while I was away for a few nights, the sitter used a door she wasn't supposed to and left it unlocked. I know because a family member came to also let my dogs out and said the door was wide open. My family Member secured the door and the sitter did it AGAIN the next day. So against my better judgment I hired them again. Thinking it was just a mis understanding they used a door we don't usually use. I gave them a second chance. I left a note on the physical door and called and told them NOT to use the door and also noted it on my account through their website. Again the same sitter used the door. She calls and tells me she had to use the door bc my keys don't work. My keys work to ALL the doors in the house so that was false. She was just incompetent. After all this I notice items of high value missing from my home. I contact them immediately bc they were the last people in my home wo me being present. I call and email them telling them I need to be contacted bc There's things missing from my home. Not only do they not contact me back but they mail me my keys. I contacted the police bc now I can only assume they are not dealing with the situation bc they are some how at fault for the missing items. I'd recommend NOT using them. What kind of reputable co would just ignore a customer who is making such serious claims. You'd think they'd want to assure you that they would never steal from a customers home. Instead they're just dodging me which seems guilty in itself. STAY AWAY read more

I understand many are giving Sarah pet sitting good reviews. Maybe they are all of her friends or clients with easy pets. My experience with them has not been good. Missed visits, visit times significantly changed with no advance notice. They are not able to handle difficult cases i.e. Elderly dogs or pets needing medication. On my last experience the only request was morning breakfast. Since they could not handle the giving of the medications I had a relative move into the house for my trip. Breakfast visits were only request. The first morning bowls were left out on floor. Guess which dog got all the meals? My chunky monkey. Another visit my relative stayed late to give breakfast. On the last visit breakfast was skipped entirely. Which meant my very elderly dog went 24 hours without food. My keys were returned to me without a written apology. I will not be using this "pet sitting service " again and I would warn any pet owners of elderly or special needs pets to do same read more
