    Mike and his team were to do a bathroom renovation and kitchen reface. The quality of work was…read morelacking (see pictures). They painted over our brand new appliances, and had very limited respect for our home. They made very inappropriate jokes and conversations while I was working from home in the adjacent room, making me very uncomfortable in my own home. I would not recommend Modern Concepts, because Mike does not deliver what he promised in the finished product. His cost is much too high for what they can deliver upon.

He charges for luxury work and delivers far below what anyone can call luxury quality. He took twice as long has he said he would and my wife and I had to redo much of the finish work after he was gone. He constantly demands for more money and to be paid before our agreed upon progress payments. He spray painted our brand new appliances because he is sloppy and damaged our brand new wooden flooring. Bottom line we had to pay Mike at Modern concepts about $4,000 more than he quoted and he took twice as long and delivered a product that was not satisfactory. Plus during the whole process he was very unclear about payments and anything money related which makes him come across as untrustworthy. Save yourself time and money and do not go with modern concepts.

She screwed up my order, wanted more money, told her to pound tar and to figure it out since she screwed it up and tried to blame her software, then she sends me pieces I don't even need, doesn't give what I DO need. Told her I was returning it for a refund and she tells me that she's not giving it to me. She blames the carrier company for her incompetence, claims she sent what I need and I have never received a thing. This place is getting sued! You picked the wrong B*TCH to play with!

    My husband and I ordered cabinets from Swansea Cabinet Factory Outlet. When visiting the showroom,…read moremy husband selected glass-front cabinets. He was told that these were special order and would therefore take about 4-weeks to be shipped, and there would be a $200 delivery cost. When the cabinets arrived, none of them had glass. We called and were told that the cabinets were "prepped for glass," and did not come with glass fronts. This is not how they were displayed in the showroom; my husband also asked the salesperson specifically if the cabinets we chose came with glass-fronts, and they said "yes." At no point during their transaction were we informed that the cabinets did not actually come with glass. Imagine our disappointment, after waiting 4 weeks, when our cabinets arrived NOT as we had intended them. While I understand that people make errors, I am very disappointed with how Cabinet Factory Outlet handled this. We called and asked for a partial refund and were told that isn't possible, but that we could return the cabinets for a refund or exchange. This seems well-and-good, until you are trying to return an entire kitchen's worth of cabinet, for the following reasons: 1) A whole kitchen's worth of cabinets do not easily fit into a car for return 2) We paid a delivery fee to have cabinets delivered that were not as we expected 3) Because the delivery slip conveniently flew out of the delivery driver's window, we were unable to check the packing + delivery slip, at which point we may have uncovered this error and had the option to decline the delivery then-and-there 4) The cabinets are displayed in the showroom WITH glass, and my husband asked SPECIFICALLY if the cabinets came with glass and was told that they do. I don't expect a full refund on these cabinets by any means. However, a compromise on both sides would have been ideal. One where we agree to keep cabinets that are not as we hoped, that will require us to incur more costs and more time for our kitchen renovation, and one where Cabinet Factory Outlet acknowledges + takes ownership of the mistakes on their end, by providing a partial discount. At the VERY LEAST, Cabinet Factory Outlet could refund the delivery fee. I find it ridiculous that we paid to have cabinets delivered that were not as promised and are also being told that if we want a refund we have to take our time, money, and effort to return them. It's sad to say, but I've honestly had better customer service at Lowe's.

I don't think people understand that subcontractors, which are usually necessary can delay a project, which results in extended timeline. I try to be as understanding as possible. Was AK&B responsible for the window company's damaged window? No. Were they responsible when a subcontractor, had a family issue. No. I will agree that there are bad actors in every business. But I'm confident I would reach out again for a future project.

Started in July and the project is still not complete. We are on our 4th set of cabinet doors because they keep coming in with damage or paint peeling. If they look like this brand new I imagine they will not hold up well. Installer could care less about my house. Just hand brand new floors installed and he chose to move the protective paper I had down and leave the cabinets on the floor. He also left his tools and materials in the brand new cabinets leaving marks and scratching them. We asked to have him stop doing this. We were told that he is the best and what he does and they didn't want to lose him. So they weren't going to say anything. Take a look at the pictures and tell me what you think. Also I can't even open the cabinet above my microwave because it hits. You would expect the owners to be embarrassed by the quality of the cabinets they are installing when they are peeling or having a customer wait 5 months and counting to finish the job. Have never gotten an apology. The cabinet maker they use (Wolf) came out to few the product after the 3rd set of replacementand was very embarrassed. Said that Attleboro Kitchen and bath did not install some of the cabinets correctly and could see errors that they made.
