From replacing 80 year old windows to renovating kitchen and dining room Anthony Hernon has…read moreconsistently produced amazing workmanship. New Harvey windows installed and seven years later they've worked perfectly. Recent renovation total kitchen gut, opened and reframed dining wall and installed new exterior door. Meticulous detailed work that is so beautiful. I am truly grateful. Some comments from last few months: "Don't usually see such great work" Town inspector "This is how you know someone does really good work." The electrician who didn't know Anthony wanted to show me the good work. "This is perfect." Yale appliance as they were installing the paneled sub zero refrigerator. I spent a lot of money on this renovation. Custom cabinets, integrated paneled appliances, high end finishes and everything Anthony did is perfect. Could not be happier. Saving up to do basement next.

Anthony was very responsive to our request for some roofing and insulation repairs. He responded…read morequickly to our request for an estimate and then again was quick to answer my many questions about the project. Due to the type of roofing that we wanted installed, Anthony informed us that we would need to wait until the temperature was above 50 degrees in order for the roofing glue to stick (or something like that). When the weather warmed up, I tried repeatedly to call and email Anthony with no response. We were not even playing phone tag....he just didn't respond. I am a professional and I expect the people to be working with me to also be professional. If Anthony no longer wanted to do our project, that would have been fine. I would have just like to have been given the courtesy of a response.

In addition, my husband and I had a little bit of an emergency situation on our hands due to an impending heat wave, and needed to figure out a solve for our problem quickly. (This I know, was our bad in not preparing better. We take full responsibility!) I put out a request on Yelp on a Wednesday afternoon to all listed handyperson services and emailed another 6 or so companies listed on Google. Most of companies I pinged did not respond at all, and the smattering that did said they were booked through October. Thank my lucky stars, though, Joe called me back within the hour and said he'd come by between 4:30 and 5pm to take a look-WHICH HE DID! Off to a good start and it just kept getting better! I walked him through the challenge at hand: we needed to install an air conditioner in our garage, but we only had one janky window to work with that didn't fit the most narrow window unit, a standup unit didn't cool the space, and we didn't really want to lose use of the window entirely. Joe jumped right in and suggested a quick, flexible, and affordable solution: build an insulated window box so we can easily install and remove the AC seasonally and maintain the insulation that we need during the colder months. Genius! Not only was his idea a good one that checked all boxes, he presented his ideas clearly, answered all my questions thoroughly, and didn't pander to my very unimpressive knowledge of construction in general. Joe sent me an estimate via email the next morning, I approved it immediately, he showed up to do the work that very afternoon, and he was finished with the work by 5pm! MAGIC. He completed the work swiftly, rigorously, efficiently, and cleanly. The AC box is secure, accurately placed based on expectation, and perfectly fits a classic AC window unit. Not only was Joe's priced reasonably he was the quickest to respond and gave me options and even found out who had the window I chose. He gave me the option of buying the window myself ( could use my military discount) . Window was installed within days of being quoted. I believe it took longer to locate the window than it did for Joe to have it installed. So all said and done he removed my old 15000 btu thru the wall AC , put in my new window , trimmed it all out, offered to repair a pice of broken siding and took the old AC and disposed of for a fraction of what everyone else was quoting me. We could not be happier with the job and will definitely use Phase Pro again.
