Every aspect of the…read moreremodel - from countertops, to cabinets, to backsplash - was done to a high standard of quality. We worked with Anton, who was great about guiding us through the process and helping us with any questions we had. His advice on how to choose cabinet colors, hardware, etc. early on was incredibly valuable. We especially appreciated the extra touches they did; we had some trim and finish that was sagging, and they went out of their way to fix it. In addition to the under cabinet lighting they threw in completely new can lights as well. The final result looks phenomenal, and our only regret is not hiring them earlier! There are so many horror stories about kitchen remodels out there but I can say that none of them were true here. Anton was prompt and communicative through the entire process, their pricing was competitive, and they worked hard to get the project completed within a reasonable timeline. Highly recommended!

My Experience With Teamwork Home Designs in Austin:…read more I'm sharing this because I wish someone had shared a review like this with me before I started my full-home remodel with Teamwork Home Designs. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. From the beginning, we were promised a lot, but as the project moved forward, the communication became difficult and, more importantly, I felt there was a serious lack of transparency when it came to pricing. We worked with Avi, who told us he was the owner of the company and explained that because of that, he could get us very good pricing. We trusted that and moved forward with the company. Later, through a friend who works with the company as a vendor, I was shown invoices related to our project. What really shocked me was the difference between what the company paid for certain materials and what we were being charged. For example, I was shown an invoice showing approximately $7,000 for our kitchen cabinetry, while we were being charged around $33,000 for the same cabinetry. I completely understand that a remodeling company needs to make a profit. A reasonable markup for managing, coordinating, and providing a project is understandable. But seeing a difference like this was extremely difficult for me to accept, especially when we were led to believe we were receiving very competitive pricing. For me, this ultimately became an issue of trust and transparency. When I questioned the situation and wanted to cancel the contract, the conversation became even more uncomfortable. We were told that the company would sue us and that we could not simply cancel. At one point, after expressing how betrayed and upset I felt about what I had discovered, we were offered $7,000 and additional items at no charge if we agreed not to leave a negative review. We seriously considered that offer, but ultimately decided that it was more important to share our experience honestly. I'm not writing this to tell anyone what decision to make. I'm writing it so that other homeowners can do their own due diligence, ask for detailed pricing, understand material costs and markups, and make sure everything is transparent before signing a contract. A full-home remodel is a huge investment, and for me, trust, honesty, and transparency are just as important as the quality of the work. Based on my personal experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering Teamwork Home Designs to ask a lot of questions, get multiple estimates, and carefully review the numbers before moving forward. This was a very stressful and disappointing experience for me and my husband, Joe, and I hope sharing it helps another homeowner avoid going through the same thing.

I finished a bathroom remodel with Koren and Daniel in March 2025. The process of getting there was painful in terms of communication and steering, but at least the shiny new bathroom they initially delivered was not bad. However, in September 2025 the shower tiles started popping out of the floor. I texted them and they had to come in and replace it. Okay maybe it was a one-off. But then less than a year later, by April 2026 the *replaced* tiles started popping out again. I tried dealing with it myself with tile glue, but other tiles kept popping out. I texted them again in August, and this time they said that they stand behind their work for only one year from the original project date, and I need to pay $1200 if I want them to fix it. Notice that it hasn't been 1 year even from the replacement date. It's really not worth it. Go with the slightly more expensive contractor they will do the job right once and for all.

The bathroom had not been updated since the 70s and a small leak from the plumbing was starting to cause water spots on the ceiling of the room below. We had several companies come out to bid on the project but ultimately chose LFM because we trusted them and worked well with Tommy. The project went smoothly and Tommy frequently stopped by to check on progress. I really liked the WhatsApp thread used to communicate since it kept everyone on the same page. They also provided an easy to use spreadsheet to help track what we needed to purchase for the project and when we would need it. Tommy was always great to jump in and provide recommendations when we got stuck since this was our first remodel project. Our goal was to open up the room as much as possible since it was originally small and crammed. Tommy and Jose did a great job providing recommendations and confirming what we could and couldn't due with the space. They ended up creating a lot more space by removing a doorway frame, removing unnecessary soffits, and converting the door to a pocket door. The rest of the crew was always friendly and cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day. They were also easy to work with for any remaining punch list items. We love the final result and the kids are so happy to have a new (pink) bathroom to use. We also ended up adding a few small projects at the end since we had such a good experience with the team. We had them re-insulate our attic, including removal of the old insulation and foam boards. They also demoed a built-in cabinet in our hallway and repaired the wall so we can make the space more usable. Overall the LFM team was great to work with and we'll reach out again for our next project!

The contract was to insulate and drywall our detached garage, including R-30 wall and attic insulation, which we paid for in full. Unfortunately, their subcontractor installed R-15 insulation in the walls instead of the agreed-upon R-30. The attic was also only partially insulated. Because the attic was difficult to access, I asked the company to provide pictures showing the completed insulation. They sent me photos claiming to show our attic, but the pictures were actually of someone else's attic. I did not discover this until later, when an HVAC company was working in our attic and showed me pictures confirming that the insulation was only partially installed. This was not simply poor workmanship--it was misleading and dishonest. We paid for work that was not completed according to the contract, and we were given pictures that did not even show our property. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company. Be extremely careful and verify the work yourself before making any final payment.

We met with a number of contractors and felt that Adam's experience and style was the best fit for our Crestview home. Adam is super responsive, patient (I was pregnant at the time and probably not the easiest client ever :), and has fantastic subcontractors--we trusted and truly enjoyed getting to know everyone that worked on the house. Whenever you tell someone you're remodeling, you typically get a gasp and a "Good luck! How long until you move back in? Plan for twice that." We were nervous. Prior to construction, we worked closely with our architect and Adam to ensure the project could be completed on budget. Throughout the project Adam provided frequent expense and progress reports. They made us feel very comfortable coming to them with anything. Andrew was our main lead for the day-to-day and did a great job keeping all the subs moving and on track. The craftsmanship work that A.R. Lucas designed and crafted are beautiful and unique, and definitely my most favorite parts of the add-on. We were drawn to A.R. Adam, Andrew and their team were a lot of fun to work with; it was a comfortable, collaborative and rewarding experience. We will most certainly reach out to them for our future projects.
