As always this little restaurant never fails to deliver a great meal. I love their breakfasts. I recently ordered for take out the almond crusted French toast and boy did it hit the spot. It was ready fast and it was HOT! I appreciate that it was clearly laid out to wait at the door for service than I was asked to come to the register to pay and pick up. My first experience with take out Breakfast? A buddy and friend dropped by so we ordered a sweet potato combo and a Blueberry Combo since we are so close we called our order in. We picked it up and returned home to enjoy ! The food was excellent but some mistakes, toast for the Blueberry combo was missing, regular scrambled eggs rather then the beaters ordered, and no eggs with my order! I love the Kitchen Table Cafe! It's reminiscent of a mom & pops diner. The portions are good-sized and the food is delicious. It is open only for breakfast and lunch, kinda too bad because their food is really, really good. Prices are good as well, totally affordable. The lines can be long unless you get there early, which I do because I get off work at 6:30am. No problem finding a seat at that time. read more

This restaurant takes orders for door dash when they are more than too busy to fulfill them leaving the dasher to wait half an hour for an order that only pays for a few minutes of time. If they can't realistically process the order in a decent time they shouldn't take them. read more

What a disappointment today. After 6 years as a loyal customer my wife and i had went in for breakfast this morning. The breakfast was not up to par but did not complain. But when the check came it was $37 which we had a $50 gift card from my daughter that we were going to use. The waitress said that they now have a new system and that the older cards will not work in it so we would have to go online, so we did and it showed $50 the waitress said that we could use it to pay the bill but that they could give us a coffee mug for the remaining balance or give it as a tip to her!!!! Why cant they give us the 13.00 back and then we can leave a tip. They cant do it the waitress said! So instead of arguing it we left..... now i will say this is a Hell of a way of robbing your loyal customers and there is no way i would have left a 45% tip for the waitress had we not been swindled out of the remaining change due us!! Word of advice Do Not Buy Gift Cards From This Restaurant and the Manager of this restaurant is rude and should not be in charge of even a school lunch line!! Avoid the aggravation as there are aot of restaurants that are in a hurt and will work to make their customers happy! So please patronize those restaurants that actually care. read more

Today was the weirdest experience I've had at Kitchen Table Cafe. No acknowledgement when we walked in the door, not a greeting or anything. We stood there in silence waiting for a host or anyone to seat us. The hosts asks "2 of you?" Without even looking at us so we had no clue who she was even referring to. There were people behind us also waiting to be seated and the host just shrugged around and showed no sense or urgency. I got the wrong dish brought out to me, I told the waitress what dish I actually ordered, she says nothing and takes the plate back to the kitchen. No apology or comment to acknowledge what happened. I've been going to this restaurant for years. The food has always been good in the past, the service always prompt, courteous and professional. This time however was different. Yes the restaurant was under staffed. However I've been a server in the busiest of times and this time I was unimpressed. My family and I went on a busy morning and were seated in about 10 minutes, and that wasn't a problem. But after we were seated and given water by the hostess, the usual service me and my family are familiar with ended. We were just forgotten about. Many other families who were seated after us got their drink orders in, then their food orders, while me and my family were just sitting there, completely forgotten about. When I spoke to the hostess about the situation, I was being understanding about how busy the restaurant was, however as a server for many years, I know under the circumstances, you approach the table and let them know that you're busy and running behind, but you will be there as soon as possible. Instead we were just completely forgotten about. The hostess let me know that our server was right next to me with her back to me, then that same server took the order of another table that was sat after us. After this took place, that left a very poor taste in my mouth. This is the first time this is happened here for me, so maybe it was just a bad day, but working in this industry for many years, maybe that just leaves me yearning for higher standards and Customer Service skills than what was given to us today. I might visit this restaurant again, but I am unsure as of right now. Just keep this in mind before you visit and see many new faces that you've never seen before there. read more
