We visited this place about a year ago with friends and came back last week. It is a small and cozy restaurant in the southern part of Milan, near the metro stop of Abbiategrasso. The chef is a young guy who has worked in the kitchens of famous restaurants in Italy and Europe and he proposes a changing menu with particular dishes inspired by Italian regional specialties. They are members of the celiac association so they propose many of their dishes in a gluten-free version.
Since the menu changes continuously, this time we had the cappellacci filled with lobster, good but nothing special, the portion was smallish. Main course was the octopus, tasty but I've had better, normal portion.
There are however the restaurant's signature dishes (always in the menu): the pasta with pistacchio and tomato pesto and the skewers of chicken, wrapped in bacon and marinated in figs sauce, our friends ordered them and they were both very good.
Prices are average for Milan, about 25/30 euro per person with wine. My opinion of the place is also average, while it is a very cozy restaurant and the dishes are good, there's nothing extraordinary about them, it is a good "neighborhood restaurant". The fact that they serve gluten-free dishes however is a plus.
Booking is complusory, also, the kitchen closes early so don't come after 9 pm or you'll be rushed to order. read more
