Since we were in an emergency situation, Steve was able to assemble a crew quickly after their scheduled job and worked on our house tirelessly till about midnight and cleaned everything up and was super courteous. Steve and George came out on a Saturday to finish up trim work and putting in the screen door (had to wait for caulk to dry). Steve is unlike the other contractors I've worked with, he shows up and keeps his word and will be there till it's finished to customers satisfaction. Will definitely use him again if needed. In fact, we hired him to remove an old antenna bolted / screwed to the house already. The attention to detail, the quality of the work- it is unbeatable. They put in a new French drain system and properly sealed the entire basement, creating additional living space for our teen girls.They replaced all the uneven floors and made the entire home not only much more functional- but breathtakingly gorgeous. The problem is then the left the house unfinished, never completing it. Six months later- their electrical work caused a house fire. Repeated attempts to rectify the issues failed until the owner of LaVillaLux just stopped talking to us altogether. Not the best way to do business. Really sad at the outcome.

We hired Molyneaux to install manufactured hardwood on our first and second floor. They were…read moresupposed to have it installed while we were on our honeymoon. Instead, they barely finished our second floor and had none of our first floor done when we returned. On top of that, it took them an additional three days to finish the job. The final job included uneven floors, floors that creaked, and floors that were not evenly distributed. They clearly were in a hurry, with quality being a minor concern. They offered us $500 credit for a future job but their pricing for said future job was so outrageous it seemed a joke. Instead we went another direction. We used Empire for our addition 6 months later, and the quality difference is noticeable. The Empire floors are solid, even, and stable. The Molyneaux floors are uneven, inconsistently placed, and lacking quality for the price charged. Overall very disappointing.

The quality and prices of the products were moderate, not cheap or expensive. During my most recent visit, I waited only a couple of minutes in line at the cash register. The cashier rang up my item, and then he stared at me without saying anything. I asked him what the total price was, and then he told me. At the end, he did thank me and wish me a good day. I am knocking off one star because I buy only some things here, and I have not yet filled up my shopping cart.
