I wish I had listened to those other negative reviews!…read moreWe thought we'd give this company a try since there were leaks we knew that needed fixing and we also needed underground gutter repairs. Two guys came out in May; unfortunately, as I now have learned, after they turned on our sprinklers, they cut the common wire when installing a new wireless rain sensor and never tested the sprinklers again. They said we were all set which we relied upon for two months while our grass and new expensive landscape plantings were turning yellow and dying while we kept increasing the days and time of watering. Once I tried to run through the zones manually and realized they weren't turning on at all, I called Summers and requested they come out ASAP as this is urgent as the sprinklers were never properly turned on. Then a man came on the phone, presumably the owner as he refused to tell me who he was, insisted that I'd have to pay the regular service fee as their warranty period is only 48 hours. That they're tired of people blaming their backflow problems on them (our backflow was totally fine by the way) and that the earliest they could come is in 6 days. He was very rude and angry at me! When I told them that I'd sue them in small claims court for the $546 they charged me in May since our sprinklers were never properly turned on, he said that's fine, he's there all the time. After another company came out on Friday and couldn't fix the problem but figured that the common wire was cut somewhere, it was Trillium Irrigation & Lighting that came out this morning, discovered where Summers had cut the common wire (where the old rain sensor was) and reconnected it. Needless to say, Trillium will now be our sprinkler company for life.

I agreed to have an irrigation system installed. I had to give them half the money before they would schedule the installation. Fair enough. They call me with a date. I had to take care of the call to Miss Diggs to locate all gas and water lines before the installation. The date was set, but the day before the office called me and asked if it was alright if the installation could take place several hours earlier because of the heat. I agreed. The next day I was home the entire day and not only did they not show up to install, they never called me to apologize. I did call the office and asked a woman who said was in charge of my account. She said because of the heat they have to reschedule. I told her that would have been nice to know before I lost a full day. She said she would call me back to reschedule, she never called and 15 days later I'm still waiting. I called the office every day where no body answered the phone and my messages all went to voicemail. Not one of those messages were ever returned. Today I made another call that went to voicemail as I went to the business 10 minutes later. I got nothing but excuses and the runaround from everyone. The phones were down, we can't get reliable help, the main guy that does our installs has been puking all week, really????? I demanded my money back as the owner came out of his office to give us some more excuses. I would never deal with this unscrupulous company, ever. I suggest anyone who thinks about hiring them to really do your homework first.
