This was probably the best experience I have ever had with a contractor - and I have worked with a lot of contractors and service pros. From contact to install it took 4 days (no joke!). I submitted a request for an estimate online, the owner called me on a weekend and set up an appointment for the next day. He texted me when he was on his way, showed up on time, made helpful suggestions, asked questions I hadn't thought of, measured, and gave me a quote on the spot (which was lower than the other 3 places I had contacted). Then he was able to set up install for two (yes, just 2!) days later. So I decided to go ahead - this was for new granite countertops in my kitchen, and it was a fairly small job. Over the next day, I had several questions about the project and texted the owner, to which he replied very quickly every time. On the morning of installation, the installers showed up on time. They were very friendly and helpful, and efficient. The owner was so on the ball with my job that he even helped schedule a plumber to install the faucet and garbage disposal that same afternoon. I told him I was not prepared for him to be so prepared. Everyone I came in contact with treated me like a top-tier customer, but my job was tiny compared to others they had going on. All in all, we had an excellent experience and I am 100% satisfied with the quality of work, the look of the granite, the communication, the service, and the price. I am highly recommending Granite & Marble Design as they recently put the frosting on the cake in my brand new kitchen and dining room remodel. Nicholas' company was 1 of 3 quotes that I had gotten and I made a perfect decision to go with him. I feel like he swooped down to my rescue and offered the best professionalism, quickest install and the best price on a quartz pattern that I had my mind set on. After my 1st 2 quotes I was resigned to the fact that I'd have to settle for a less expensive selection or go back to granite and was feeling disappointed until Nicholas came in and saved the day! We are building a new home and have visited many countertop fabricators and distributors in this process. Granite and Marble Design had everything we were looking for and the pricing was better than anywhere else. In addition, the lead time was significantly shorter than any other fabricator we shopped at. Once delivery arrived, the install team did an awesome job walking us through the process, making sure that the countertops were positioned perfectly and insuring that all holes were drilled per the fixtures we had selected. They took great care insuring that all of our questions were answered and needs were met. Later that evening, the owner even reached out to make sure we were happy with our countertops. Needless to say, this has been one of our best experiences in the whole building process. Initially, I had to wait longer than I anticipated for the guys to come and install my kitchen countertops. But, once they arrived the guys were cordial and came in and went straight to work. Once they got started it seemed like it only took them a couple hours to do the whole kitchen, that's including removing the old countertops. The end result was beautiful. I didn't want to include pictures because my floors are torn apart right now. I'm having porcelain tile installed in a couple days so all you see is the subfloor. So, to take a picture of those beautiful countertops with that ugly subfloor would not have done it justice. I would recommend these guys for your next granite or marble project. read more

He advised us on the best countertop and color for our home. His quote for the kitchen was so affordable that we decided to do six additional rooms! The crews that came out to measure, remove existing countertops, and to install the new ones were friendly and professional. This was our 3rd or 4th quote for countertops. All others required a deposit just to even get them to come out an measure. Not Granite and Marble Design. The owner Nicolas came out same day to get all our measurements and said they would have it done in 1 WEEK. And they did. Nicolas was so awesome to work with and funny. The 3 gentleman who came in and installed the countertops were very professional and friendly. My wife and I absolutely love out Quartz countertops. This is my 2nd time using Granite & Mabrle Design in the last few years. I would highly recommend them to anyone as I had a good experience both times. I was able to look at slabs on a Saturday, get a quote the same day, and then have a template done the next week. From template to install, it was about 3 weeks. Template took less than 30 minutes; install was close to 3 hours. Very fast and efficient which is helpful. Overall, the quartz is beautiful as you can see in the photo and I'm very satisfied with their work. read more

We were looking to get the laminate countertops in our kitchen replaced with granite on an urgent basis. Most businesses we contacted were either overpriced or overbooked. Amazing work. Any company can sell decent stone but not just any company can and will take as much time as needed to make things perfect. My house is an older home that is neither level nor square. It definitely was not easy to get a perfect fit for my floating counter between two uneven walls, but they did.
