I was so excited to get in there and see that they had a shelf full! I left there spending $15 with a couple hours worth of reading! I'm also not the fastest reader...... There were some good rare finds. I would've liked to spend a few more hours perusing. Though it's a small shop there was a lot to look at. Person at the desk introduced themselves to everyone and asked what they were looking for. Pointed me in the right direction. Also said that Batman issue I bought was a fantastic one off. I got it for the art. Haven't seen it before. My wife is an accountant and she complimented the joints organization compared to the places I frequent in Philly. We are here for a few more days and I may try and slip in this shop again.

The coffee here was delicious; cups are running $4 - $5. They offer specialty espresso shots, hot chocolate, smoothies, sodas, and more ranging $4.50 - $7+. They do have other items for sale such as Folkmanis Puppets, decorative gift bags, a selection of greeting cards, unique journal books, and a variety of items related to creative writing. The store also supports local artists by displaying their artwork throughout the store along with the price list. There were several spots throughout the bookstore where you can sit back and enjoy your beverage or snack with a book, which made for a cozy welcoming vibe. Staff were super friendly and inviting. The store is well organized and it is fairly easy to find what you are looking for. If you need a quick reference point on where to start be sure to ask the staff for help. They have a great variety of books available for sale and they don't seem to mind if you reading one while enjoying your coffee or cold brew. In the back they have a large space with art supplies; just about anything one would need to get started and beyond. My mom purchased a few paint brushes and I purchased a round of beers for our group. Pricing is quite affordable - craft beer was $6.48 each and my mom's Saranac soda was $2.78. The store is immaculately kept and the restroom was clean. We had a great time while visiting the area and would come back again next time we're in town.

My wife and I spent a lot of time talking with Bob, the owner, and his partner (ugh - can't remember her name) about the history of their shop and some of the other unique places in Chatham. If you are going through Chatham make a point of stopping into this classy little shop and you will not be disappointed. Great place to visit!!

This is a very adorable tourist shop. They have everything and more. From locally made soaps and…read morefudge to moccasins, semi-precious stones, books, toys, a little something for everyone. There is only one negative I have found after almost a year of visiting this shop: the staff seem to dislike the customers. There is never a smile or a hello. They seem like they'd prefer to be a million miles away than working there. The last time I went, I asked for the staff to get me something from the showcase, I apologized for making her stop what she was doing to get it and she gave me the death glare. Another person noticed and mentioned it to me. I wish I could give it 5 stars but I think management has to improve to have happy workers.
