The games cafe was empty except for the nice guy trying to interest people in playing games. All the fantastic pinball machines are GONE. The only game left was a video "Simpson's" game. He is very knowledgable of all things current in the comic world, knows people in the industry, has artist appearances to sign books and will happily talk to you about any comic related issue you may have. He will happily set up your pull list with discount prices for doing so. The very large inventory of current and near current books, both majors and independents, are neatly bagged and boarded on shelves. You can frequently find the last ten issues of any story available on the shelf for their cover price. While there are not boxes and boxes of back issues in the store, they will always happily track down any issue(s) you need to acquire. The store also has a good selection of "kids" comics for the young readers. Additionally, Alterniverse has a large supply of all the card games, Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon: decks, boosters and singles. And what comic store would be complete without the action figures and "higher end" collectables that are nicely displayed. The store has moved across the street from its former home and is very spacious. I am actually surprised not to see more comments here, as the store is invariably full of people all the time. There is a constant schedule of MAgic and Yu-Gi-Oh tournaments going all week. Frankly, I love this store and only wish I lived closer to it. It is the only place you should go if you are looking for comics in upstate NY.

The seller (Chris at Junkdrawer) would not refund stating they do not guarantee pieces over 30 days, so If you are buying anything from this seller be prepared to spend the additional time and money to verify with PSA/Beckett/JSA or be out the money you spend.
