The thing that really sold me on this store was the pricing. Many smaller comic shops jack up the prices of their minor keys or poor condition major keys to absurd amounts. But almost everything I came across here was priced exactly as it should be - in some cases even a little lower. I enjoyed the array of pinball and other game cabinets in the back. Every play is 25-50 cents so you also won't blow off a lot of money playing there for a while. I was so excited to get in there and see that they had a shelf full! I left there spending $15 with a couple hours worth of reading! I'm also not the fastest reader...... There were some good rare finds. I would've liked to spend a few more hours perusing. Though it's a small shop there was a lot to look at. Person at the desk introduced themselves to everyone and asked what they were looking for. Pointed me in the right direction. Also said that Batman issue I bought was a fantastic one off. I got it for the art. Haven't seen it before. My wife is an accountant and she complimented the joints organization compared to the places I frequent in Philly. We are here for a few more days and I may try and slip in this shop again.

I mostly purchase Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition books, as well as gaming miniatures and painting kits. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. If they don't have a product available on the shelves, they are very good about fulfilling customer requested special orders. They also runs in shop role-playing game sessions, and even Hero-Clix and Magic the Gathering games! And if you can't make it in for a D&D game, they hold several weekly online events each week.

I ended up getting a Smurfette figurine while my husband chatted with the owner, I think. He graciously was giving my husband price estimates and guidelines even though my husband was thinking about selling his comics on Ebay. This guy really knew his stuff and had such a depth of comic history and information about various characters. He had also worked at the theater for 20 years, and my husband and him compared memories of the theater and we got to hear about secret, historical things in the theater as well. Really a great guy and making the store a wonderfully, helpful resource. It is guys like him that make small towns a special place to visit and the world a smaller, more friendly, warmer, better place.

Cool little local spot, not a franchise, they sell a lot of local work from the area. The girl in the counter was awesome and very helpful. She was very interactive and down to earth also showed us some sections where they have the dollar comics at. We found a little gem in there and also left with one of the older original Flash issues. The owner was very reasonable and willing to even negotiate on it. I know if we lived locally I would know where to find my halfsie at, definitely in here!
