These two brothers may come off looking and acting like the cliche of your typical image of a comic book enthusiast. you wouldn't be to far off on that conclusion.
However from my understanding of little dialogue that I have had with these two, they are very knowledgable on the books themselves and most important have an excellent connection with the canon itself.
I would personally put my trust into these two over that CGC scam. I will stress scam. Who in their right mind would send their cream of their collection to a handful of strangers in Florida to get their books graded and valued. I'm not sure if it's still like this, but a decade ago it took over three months to return my books. I could swear that they were not the issues that I had sent. But let's be real here, theses strangers set the bar on the value of your books. They have access to copies of books that some of have never seen or will see in our lifetime. How can I trust that they are not only giving an unbiased grading my book, I have to trust these strangers that they are not switching out mine for theirs.
I'll keep all my books local. That's why I stress supporting this shop. These brothers are fair. They don't price gouge, they sell their copies below guide price depending on condition, they are by far the best suited to grade your books. If you just want to get an idea of your books value, these guys have the experience and the eye for it.
Unlike other shops in the area, like one who offered me $65 for 41 books that included rarities like ASM 129, 121, Hulk 180,182 xmen 95-100, lmao. This is a true story. I never let on that I knew any better about the books. They picked them out and told me that they were no better than reading copies. They offered me $1.50 a book!
So I put my faith in these two cliche twin brothers that are right out of the Simpsons!
Be a part of this! Stop in if your local, call them if your not. They have your best interests! read more
