The atmosphere is calm and private. If you have gold or Sterling Silver you do not want to keep, turn it into cash at this reputable store. I was amazed how professional, knowledgeable and efficient the staff is at Ferris. Within 40 minutes I left with a substantial check. The current price of gold is over $3,000. now! I never thought of jewelry as an investment, but it can be. For example, a 14 karat gold bracelet I bought in 1995 for $625. was worth an incredible $6,445. at today's gold market price. The store is also a high end jewelry store. Cases of new jewelry are displayed in cases around the store. There is also some estate jewelry available to purchase including Tiffany & Co. They couldn't repair our game system but sold us a replacement one (minus the cords and stuff which we already had and thus didn't need) for around $20, with a 30-day warranty. We took it home and it works. So, we are back to playing the Wii. Wheeee! They also sold retro toys, board games, video games, movies, and other "nerdish" things. It was a fun walk through, though you could easily empty your wallet and walk out with some nifty things if you aren't careful.
