I am a long time resident in Great Barrington but, as an older person, haven't visited Tom's Toys frequently. However, for my grandchildren's Christmas gifts, I went to shop there this year. The service I was met with was awful. I have a hard time walking and had accidentally bumped into a few stuffed animals. I apologized but was met with rudeness and a lack of empathy. I was humiliated in front of the crowd within the store. There was one worker in particular who astounded me. I left the store shocked by the rude service and extreme lack of empathy from one worker in particular.

Little Pickles Hudson is an inviting and accessible space that holds an amazing variety of merchandise. We were drawn to the Usborne books for toddlers, and the eeBoo puzzles, both attractive to children of all backgrounds. The shoes and boots for kids were functional and magical at once. Store is amazing with a huge inventory of sportscards of every type...Baseball, Football, Basketball, Soccer and most any other sport you can imagine. Not only is the selection vast at virtually any pricepoint but the owner, Jeff, seems like he has a story about every card in the shop. He is very generous with his knowledge and whether cards are for you or a young person, he's happy to share. In fact, when we told him that our grandsons were big sports fans and had started collecting, he lit up and he's been collecting since he was a kid.
