I'm happy to support this local, family-owned business, not only for the aforementioned reasons but…read morealso because their employees are both knowledgeable and helpful. I tend to come in to have prints matted and/or framed. Archival materials are the norm. The staff will also mat to ready-made frame sizes or custom. Their training also makes choosing mats easier. "Do you want bright white or eggshell white?" "Let's look at them together." Additionally, they offer to amend things that I didn't notice. A print I asked to have matted and framed was slightly curved. I was assured the print would be flattened prior to being matted and framed so it would sit more snugly. I'm sure most customers would appreciate that attention to detail. Here's to hoping this establishment continues to provide goods and services to this community for a long time to come.

This store has been around for years and always has a great selection of products. My mom loves…read moreadult coloring books and comes here to stock up on assorted color pencils. They sell the pencils individually so she can selectively restock the ones she runs out of most. Apparently, green is the most frequently used color for all the grass in landscapes so she can buy individual ones here very reasonably instead of buying a whole new package of pencils. They also have a nice selection of gift items like small pouches, reusable bags, socks, cards and assorted small art themed things. The selection of easels is extensive and includes table easels and standing easels. Tons of canvas, paints and paint brushes. Prices are reasonable. I found the staff a little overbearing (they greeted me multiple times) when I entered the store but were friendly at checkout. Highly recommend.

Apparently they have classes in the back area (pottery & painting) maybe more I'm not sure. I will have to take a class next time I am up in this area. Definitely stop by you won't be sorry.

Not only do they no longer have them, but they also no longer have paper bags to put your items in. The staff doesn't give a shit about you, refuse to help, and act like it kills them to have to wait on you. Selection is piss poor at best lots of empty shelves. This store and its employees are typical of the attitude in good old Smallbany. Congratulations on being one of the worst Michaels I've ever seen.

There has never been a time where my kid has come back from Arts & Glass disappointed. In fact, *any* time we're within the shopping center, or close by, she asks if we can go again. It's reasonably priced, considering you actually get something of solid quality, which lasts for a while, and is personalized; my wife uses the coffee mug our daughter made at least once a week. Certainly recommend this place. If we ended up doing her birthday party there, too, I wouldn't be shocked. The staff is so nice, mellow, and accommodating, I can't see how anyone could be unhappy with Arts & Glass.

Descriptions of products are detailed. You are informed of the location where the items are available and amount available. You can pick up curbside if you like. You can decide when you arrive at the store. Curbside pickup was fast and efficient. In addition, staff member was pleasant. Calm, orderly parking area. Michael's has an excellent variety of photo supplies including stock frames, mats, storage cases, and photo albums. They even offer custom framing but I think their prices are high in spite of the coupon discounts offered. I have also had items shipped to my house if they were not available in local stores.

TW: Racism/profiling I went to Michael's within an hour of…read morethe store opening to get items for a project I'm making for a friend. I walked in and I wasn't greeted as I went to the jewelry section of the store. My friend gave me a general idea of what she wanted the piece to look like so I wanted to take my time looking through the jewelry section to find what she'd like. While browsing I noticed an employee come nearby to stock or something. I still wasn't greeted or asked if I needed help, even though I had been standing there for a while looking around. I realized I had forgotten my gift card in my car so I put the one item I had, back on the peg where it came from. I walked out to my car and returned less than a minute later to 2 employees searching the area I was browsing as if looking to see if I stole something. I left them to continue looking for nothing and started browsing on the other side of the isle, not wanting to interact with them at this point. I needed help finding a replacement zipper but I was so uncomfortable/anxious that I used the Michael's app to look at the map of the store to find it. Throughout my time in the store I was followed/looked for and a few employees stayed in the jewelry section while I was shopping elsewhere. It was early so I was 1 of at most 10 people in the store at the time and I was the only POC. I used the self checkout and only when I started to leave an employee spoke to me and said "have a good day."
