The price covers the piece, supplies, and firing which I think is great. The 420 pieces are especially fun. The pricing can add up (we usually drop $60 when we go there just the two of us) but in THIS economy, and with everything you get in the overall process, it's well well worth it. They helped me choose fabrics to go with some I brought for my next project and despite being a small store, they have many fabric choices; retro, modern, classic, many shades of all colors. Being a small business owner, I prefer to patronize small businesses rather than places like Joanns and am willing to pay more per yard for that. There were other quilting supplies and patterns available but I didn't look at them on this trip. I love seahorses, and they had a beautiful wall hanging of a seahorse which I will incorporate into a bed quilt.
