I went to her with what seemed like an encyclopedia's worth of medical history, and she took the time to go through each of my health issues and made sure I was where I needed to be with each one. She sees patients of all ages, shapes, and sizes--so Altamonte MD is the perfect place to establish any family who wants centralized, one-stop care! She also performs GYN exams, making this location an excellent place to settle into for all medical needs! Her MA, Jamie is also an amazing medical professional, eliminating the inevitable "dreaded" feeling of the doctors office and replacing it with a cheerful, warm attitude and willingness to help. Jamie made me feel right at home. I was asked what insurance I had (United Healthcare) and why I was coming in (new patient) and then was kind of rudely told "well, we're not scheduling patients for another month" with kind of an attitude like my scheduling an appointment was too much work for her today. Man, entering all that "new patient stuff" in the computer must be a real drag! It wasn't an urgent appointment and had I been greeted and treated appropriately I would've scheduled for next month. The attitude was a MAJOR turn off. Just hope the physicians are aware the receptionists/appointment person is running off new potential patients. Your support staff can make or break your business no matter how good YOU are!

The nurses came and cleaned the small cut and covered with a small bandage. I did NOT need stitches. THE BILL SENT TO MY HEALTH INSURANCE: $5,139.00 - with adjustments: 2, 668.16. My insurance paid $2,220.84 and they are charging me $250.00. THIS IS SUCH A SHAME! This hospital should be ASHAMED of charging this amount of money for a single BANDAGE!
