I was asked what insurance I had (United Healthcare) and why I was coming in (new patient) and then was kind of rudely told "well, we're not scheduling patients for another month" with kind of an attitude like my scheduling an appointment was too much work for her today. Man, entering all that "new patient stuff" in the computer must be a real drag! It wasn't an urgent appointment and had I been greeted and treated appropriately I would've scheduled for next month. The attitude was a MAJOR turn off. Just hope the physicians are aware the receptionists/appointment person is running off new potential patients. Your support staff can make or break your business no matter how good YOU are!

Mid-to-upper back, T1-T4. They then ordered an MRI to examine my cervical spine, which looked at C1 through T1 and didn't go any lower. I now have a useless MRI of my neck. Now, because I have no other choice, I have to wait at least another month to get an appointment with Orlando Family Physicians, where I give it a 50% chance they own up to their mistake and make an effort to fix it, and order and MRI for the correct area of my back.

I live in Apopka and this office is less than 10 minutes away from me, so its location was important, They have late hours until 8pm on weekdays and are open on the weekend. If you are familiar with the Advent Health system, all of your medical information is accessible through their website or their app you can download on your phone. I love that if I get bloodwork done at one of their locations, it's almost immediately available in their portal. I can access my past appointments and if I have ever gone to a Centra Care or the Advent ER, all of that is available. So far it's been great. Even if I don't always see the same doctor, all of the notes are in the system. Every time I have had an appointment, the doctor or the assistant has been very caring, helpful and informative.
