Speed society APPROVED! Had a restomod sitting for 3-4 years rebuild engine, everything brand new, except the radiator, cause why would I change a brand new 500 mile radiator, well because it sad and the aluminum created some crazy flow issues after 3-4 other fixes from new alternator, new spal fans, and countless bottles of distilled cycles filling pressurizing and draining we still had issues where temp would see 215-216 at idle after driving. Basic stop light to stop light stuff! Referred to Ryan at Kirk's Radiator and he acid flushed and did whatever magic he does and now it idles to 170 fans come on, and back to 165 and fans off and literally is night and day! Full review and factual proof at @Speedsociety Thank you! read more

I had an overheating issue with my vehicle. I immediately pulled the vehicle to the side. The next morning I called AAA to tow it as I thought it was a minor issue. AAA recommended Greg's Automotive. Not thinking I agreed to tow it to their recommendation. After receiving an exorbitant estimate from Greg's, I took it to Kirk's. Stan, the owner, was quick, efficient, and economical. I would always recommend Kirk's for your A/C repair read more

We took our 2019 Winnebago Vista to Kirk's because our Chassis AC was not working. I had just dropped it off and walked in the door when they called with the problem and the solution. They had the part and our RV was back in its spot in less than 4 hours!!!! Amazing!!!! The AC is colder than the day we bought the rig! And it was $100 cheaper than what we thought it would cost. Highly recommend Kirk's.... Thank You for your excellent Service. Hope I never have to see you all again but if I do I know what we need will be fixed perfectly and quickly. read more

I used this service, and they referred AA Auto Service to me to fix my son's water pump. When I went to go and pay for the service, the mechanic at AA Auto Repair called me names, stuck his middle fingers up at me, and challenged me to a fight in the parking lot. Horrible customer service. read more

Fast, reasonable, professional. Great clean shop. A quality shop. Will go back again. A pleasure to do business with.

My husband is a disabled Veteran. As a woman (and senior citizen), I am tasked with attending to many of our family needs as a result. I am not an automotive gal. I am rather old fashioned (if you will), and find that a lot of things in today's world are basically lost. Such as: -honesty -integrity -customer service -manners -ethics -compassion, -timeliness, -kindness, -fairness etc. *One thing that has ALWAYS been a steadfast, stable, trustworthy, reliable, and our families "go to" solution for all of our automotive needs is Kirk's Radiator, Air, and... you name it ! **As I don't really feel that there is anything that they can't fix. Our family is faith based. My biggest thing navigating this world nowadays is trust: Trust is not bought, It is earned ! It takes a lot to impress me. It takes a lot to "earn" my business. There are a lot of shops around. There are a lot of horror stories. Don't take any chances, try Kirk's first. I have been working with this shop since 1988. We have brought them some pretty challenging scenarios. Most of which were not "textbook". NO MATTER WHAT, they have always resolved them. They have done all of our work timely, kept us informed along the way, performed work way above industry standard, and very cost effectively, and fairly. They aren't slow. They don't need to "generate" work. They have earned our families TRUST in their consistent knowledge, vast experience, exemplary customer service, communication, and skills. They are a stand-up business that I would NEVER hesitate to recommend 110%. We are grateful to have them on our team and know that all of our vehicles are operating at their highest, top level, and most efficient performance-thanks to the high quality, standards, and ethics that they devote to EACH and EVERY vehicle that enters their shop. God Bless Kirk's Radiator and repair. read more

we needed a radiator. Thank goodness we noticed before we left for Fresno. Kirk took our car at 3 p.m. It was ready at noon next day. We went for a week came back no issues. Now I am a cheap skate so 800.00 seemed a lot to me for my Lexus es350 but i needed it done. read more

NEGATIVE ONE BILLION STARS I would NEVER trust this shop I called Kirk a couple weeks back and was leaking coolant and concerned. I have a mid 90s Honda with a DOHC and they are prone to head gasket failure if they overheat. This guy had great reviews on here so I went to him. He pops my hood and looks around and says unequivocally that my run off tank reservoir has a hairline crack and that the coolant is coming from there, don't stress it and top off as needed. So the last couple weeks I drove thinking that coolant is coming from there -no big deal. Would top off in morning. Well I suddenly overheated today and went to the closest shop. They think it's a head gasket that it got to hot and it's my radiator that's been leaking AND there is no crack in the run off reservoir. So even what he said it was was wrong. So thanks Kirk! Now I may have a damaged engine and I have a blown head gasket. You want to trust this shop go ahead but I would not if I were you. Unbelievable -I mean they are a radiator shop it's what they do and he sent me down the road with advice and a diagnosis that may ruin a very important rare car. Devastated. Will report to bureau of automotive repair. read more

Outstanding 5 star service. A/C has stopped blowing cool air Followed reviews, BBB reports and decided to give Kirks a try So very I did. Greeted very friendly when I came in by Ryan. He had it in and looked at in minutes, dispelled what others had told me which would have cost me an extra 300.00 I needed refrigerant , schrader valves, o'ring and AC oil total 228.74 out the door. Other place down the road was trying for a radiator job plus A/C Ryan told me no Very Honest and my AC has never worked better Very Happy for his reviews on YELP and the BBB. Made my decision a good one and saved me money Highy recommended read more

The first warm day of the Spring and my car's AC didn't work. After an awful experience with a different, much closer shop last year, I decided to try Kirk's, because of a large number of good reviews. It was good timing. Ryan got right into a diagnosis and discovered a leak in the condenser coils and confirmed the part availability and cost and offered an estimate of the total repair cost. He clearly knows what he's doing. He had the work completed on time as promised and even spent some time troubleshooting an unrelated fuel filler issue that others have had no success repairing. I started the car and cold air was blowing in two seconds. AWESOME! I'm very pleased and will confidently recommend Kirk's for AC and other service. read more

Great family owned business, these guys get the job done good and quick, highly recommend!

This place is so awesome. They are always honest and fair. There is nothing else you can ask for from a mechanic! They also give great referrals if they do not specialize in the issue you are having. Thanks, Kirk's Radiator! read more

These guys clearly love their job and know what they're doing. I was recommended by a friend to get my mufflers and resonator modified/deleted. I walked in and got service right away. Ryan showed/told me the best option for my Acura cl type s, and explained pricing and why. He let me know there are cheaper options, but the magnaflow is overall the best quality. He is clearly a perfectionist in his line of work, and even though my car is an old junker, he still strived to do the best modifications. Once we changed out the mufflers, I decided I wanted it louder, so he did a resonator delete in about 10 minutes. Overall I was able to show up, wait an hour in the waiting room and leave with super clean sound. Highly recommend read more

Just took my jeep here 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee to get it ready for TDS jeep run they told me it was going to be $65 bucks up front they will find the problem and if I want them to fix it I can and they will apply it towards the total repair cost if I don't want that they will still tell me what's wrong and I can go on my way You can't lose !!! They did next day turn around for me it ended up being a pressure switch and they also checked the system for leaks $20 parts $45 labor They could have charged me $200 bucks and I would have been fine with that but they were totally honest got me dialed in and sent me on my way Plus they have been in the same spot and around for like a hundred years read more

We inherited a motorhome in 2016 that had sat parked for over a decade, and quickly realized one of our worst fears that it had a massive fuel problem. After several clogged fuel filters, it was time to suck it up and fix the tank. The shop that dropped the tank looked in it and told me that it was rusted beyond repair and that we'd have to order a new one from Workhorse for $1300+ dollars. I called my normal mechanic (Gary's Automotive in Santee) and asked if he had any ideas or references, and he told me to call Kirk's. I was able to bring the tank to them that day. He looked at it and diagnosed it as massive varnish build up, not rust. He was able to cut it open, clean it, weld it closed, re-seal it and get it right back to us a day later for under $200. We put it back in the motorhome and got my mom on the road before the weekend. She drove the RV back to Texas and hasn't had a single issue with it since. Thanks!! read more

I was looking for a place to take a look at my 2008 Mazda's air conditioning ... it was not getting cold anymore. Stan was great! He was matter-of-fact, did not sugar-coat anything, and did not try to sell me more than I needed. They fixed it! It was not cheap but the price was fair for what they did. I love this place! I highly recommend it! They're honest, family-owned, and have been here a long time in the community. I would gladly return if needed. Great job, Kirk's!!! read more
