Cooking up the crab cakes!

If you love crab cakes, you will love Kirk's Fish Market. They have the best! Their service is also second to none. If you're in the area, visit them- you won't regret it.

Jonah Crab Claws, Crab Cake, Cajun Shrimp and Seaweed Salad.

My husband and I have been looking for a place to buy seafood in Marco Island since the other place closed down. Locals recommended Kirk's for fresh seafood. So glad we stopped by. Had the freshest Jonah Crab Claws I've ever tasted. You can taste the difference. Reasonably priced too. Also tried their Crab Cake. Again, by far, the best Crab Cake!! No fillers. Just crab meat and lots of it!! Cajun Shrimp perfectly seasoned. Not too salty. Cooked to perfection; plump and juicy. Highly recommend stopping this place for really fresh seafood at affordable prices.

Four visits in four days. We hit the jackpot with Kirk Fish Company. It is stone crab season and I live for that, even though we live in Northern VA. Our vacation in Marco Island was heaven; it was made perfect by our daily visits to this shining star. Why did it stand out? -Incredibly fresh and multiple size offerings of stone crabs -very helpful and friendly team -the place does NOT SMELL LIKE FISH. I know that is a weird statement but this place is so fresh and a "fishy" smell is the worst. They run a very clean operation. -Excellent gulf shrimp and cocktail sauce. -Outstanding stone crab sauce. We took 3 pounds back home on the plane to Virginia and used our Kirk Fish Company mallet. My only wish: That there was an allowance given to customers for not having them crack the stone crab claws. We prefer to crack our own and realize they crack the claws; it is included in the overall cost. Just a thought.

Fresh catch and prices vary daily. It’s best to call to find out what’s available and pricing.

Can you get cooked/made-to-order seafood here, or is it just a market to take the raw seafood home to cook yourself?

Some of both. Our stone crabs, cooked shrimp, smoked fish and our dips/spreads are cooked and ready to eat. We also have fresh shrimp and fish available for you to take home and cook yourself. We open for season on October 15th, stop in and check us… Read more

A Hidden Gem in Downtown Naples -- Don't Sleep on This Place!…read more I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and the place was buzzing -- the outside patio was at full capacity. I asked for a seat at the bar, and even though space is very limited, the staff went above and beyond to find me one. That kind of effort on a packed afternoon says a lot about this team. The bartender was phenomenal -- attentive, warm, and somehow managed to make every single person at that busy bar feel like they were the only guest in the restaurant. The whole staff carried that same energy. They were also wonderfully descriptive about the daily specials and menu offerings, which made ordering a pleasure rather than a guessing game. I decided to try the crab cake, and I'm so glad I did. I grew up on the East Coast eating crab, and I've had my fair share -- I've long held that Phillips in Maryland made the gold standard. I am happy to report that Captain & Crew has dethroned them in my book. This crab cake was pure lump crab meat, not overpowered by fillers or seasoning. You could actually taste the crab. The accompaniments they served alongside it elevated the whole dish even further. Thoroughly impressed. The wine pairings were equally well-curated. I took the staff's recommendations and they absolutely nailed it. A heads-up for first-timers: parking is the one small challenge. There's no convenient lot right there, so you may need to use a parking garage and walk over. Honestly? Embrace it. If you're already in Downtown Naples, it's a beautiful stroll that perfectly sets the mood before you arrive. Captain & Crew is a true hidden gem. Many people come for the fresh seafood market, but don't overlook the restaurant side -- it's absolutely worth your time. Highly recommend.

After sitting down, we started reviewing the menu and saw so many interesting items that it was difficult to choose. Fortunately, our server noticed we were struggling and she offered to help navigate us through our meal. Our goal was to sample a variety of options, but not to over order. And we accomplished just that! We started with some Stone Crabs, then some Peel & Eat Shrimp, then my wife and I shared an entree of Blackened Grouper with sides of fries and coleslaw, where we also added a few scallops. Delicious! We thought we were done, but our server informed us of the excellent Key Lime pie. We had room to share one slice, and we are so happy we did! It was excellent. A great balance of tartness and sweetness. We look forward to returning!

It's a mostly outdoor beach bar, with live music, drinks, food, and their famous "Sunday Funday." Nate and I were there on a weekday afternoon, so the vibe was more chill than I assume it gets on Sundays. We found a picnic table with an umbrella and a server came over right away. It was "idle hour" (happy hour), so we got some discounted drinks and a snack, some peel and eat shrimp. I wanted a pina colada, and it came with a rum floater. The pina colada itself didn't seem like it was very strong, but it had good flavor and wasn't overly sweet. I also got a margarita from the happy hour menu, which was pretty strong and sweet. The shrimp were served cold with cocktail sauce. They were cooked nicely and not rubbery, but didn't have a ton of flavor. I'd definitely order other food from the menu, but we were heading to dinner soon after so I didn't want to fill up. The live music that was happening while we were there was pretty silly and kind of raunchy, but entertaining. I'm glad we got to experience this popular spot at an off-peak time.

Parking was nearly impossible and we had to pay $10. We arrived too late in the day to have any chance of getting any sort of seating in a shady spot so we walked up to the bar and ordered one beer and listened to the incredible band for a lbit before we headed out. This is a huge place that gets extremely packed. Everyone is very friendly and here to have a good time. We will be back, but I want to arrive early enough to get a spot in the shade and be able to enjoy the music.

It is a casual seafood restaurant located on the Barron River which connects to the Gulf. There are a few parking spaces in front otherwise it's free street parking where you can find it. There is a school across the street so parking can fill quickly. Most of the seating area is outside so you enter and then find an empty table. Menus are on the table and then a server arrives and takes your order. If the weather is right sitting next to the water is a nice calming experience. I sat in a screen enclosed covered patio. My order was for the fried grouper sandwich with french fries and cole slaw for $27. Yes grouper is expensive. The meal arrived about 10 minutes later. The fried fish fillet sitting in on the long bun was HUGE and it looked delicious too. I was very happy and then I started to eat it. Everything with that sandwich was excellent except its taste. It was the batter for me. The taste wasn't bad at all but it didn't stand out to me. Whatever batter they use to fry with is not my favorite and that is the only reason I don't give a 4 score here. The french fries were excellent in taste and showed me that Triad's puts effort in making them. Also the slaw was cool and a nice palate cleanser. The table service was friendly and attentive. I like Triad's and would be happy to return. But I would probably try something else on the menu that isn't fried. The batter taste is my opinion and I'm sure others will disagree. Another fact about eating here is that they charge 3.5% more for credit cards use. With an iced tea, tax and tip, my lunch cost $40...kind of expensive for Everglades City, FL.
