The managers tune changed and refused to return it . It is not the fault of the customer if they are told misinformation by their staff. I feel this is terrible customer service , and think that the manager should have returned the items as a one time courtesy. There was no apology given just a flat No return! I wanted to support local businesses but with this attitude and bad customer service they have lost a customer. Profit over people is what's ruining small businesses.

They were super helpful and quick to get everything cut and loaded up. I have seen them care for walk in clients that weren't savvy in building and yet they took good care of them and were very helpful. They are not a big box store. But rather a throwback to when businesses took care of their clientele.

Joe was great in person, very easy to deal with and the guys at the counter we're quick to help with the payment portion. Pricing was exceptional, well worth the extended drive to Rome. The guys in the years we're very quick to help, did a great job of loading the 2400 pounds of material (excellent forklift work, and a very helpful crew on a 90 degree day) Joe was there to wish us a safe trip as we departed the yard, a very good experience, and one I'll be happy to repeat again when we start our next project.

The wife and I came in looking for this outdoor couch. We had heard from the internet that they still had stock of this 4 piece set at this Lowes. We found the floor model, no idea where anything else was so we simply asked an employee. Turns out the item wasn't in the inventory listed location, but 15 minutes and 3 employees later it was found and in our possession. Additionally, while some guys looked for the item others made sure we knew what they were up to and why the wait was happening. Overall, bunch of top notch folks working there. After we bought the set one of them even helped us load it in the car. (it barely fit but that's another story). So over all, these guys actually were pretty great. The item itself, though that's review number 2. It wouldn't really be fair to pin the product failures on the branch of Lowes, so the 5 stars is well earned but this couch got the mythical 0 star review. Essentially in the end the item was completely unbuildable. I'd post pictures but again its really a manufacturing problem not a "this Lowes" problem. Metal parts of the couch basically were canted and tilted so that the screws couldn't pull the product together. From reviews of that product it seems maybe 1/20-50 people get this sort of issue? So you have good odds that the couch is buildable if you buy any given one, but this one certainly was not. On the other hand, Lowes accepted the return of the item and all I lost was two afternoons in the deal so, I can't even be that mad. So yeah, great Lowes. good selection, maybe wait to buy outdoor home assembly furniture here until their design teams are as good as those Ikea goons.
