It was not improved after 10 days and she got me right in for procedure to unclog the duct. I have not needed a return as she advised me on what to do to keep my eye healthier but I would go back to her office in a heartbeat should problems arise.

This is a very popular place and a lot of people are here they seem happy

This place is great!! Two years ago I left my optometrist because the office had gotten too big…read moreand I felt like I was being upsold constantly. Luckily I found Cedar Park Optometry. My eye exams have been very detailed and they offer a personal and friendly service. Kim and Elizabeth at the front are also great and took the time to let me try on every thing I wanted. Also, I did not realize Dr. Smith is a glaucoma specialist and he actually pointed out some things about my nerve bundling and cupping in my retina which had never been addressed previously. Very happy I switched to them.

We love his new location and couldn't be happier with the services he provides. His staff is always friendly and ready to assist. The office is very clean and modern. I have never had a rushed visit with Dr. Smith. He always takes his time explaining things, like reviewing your digital retinal screening photos etc. You won't find an optometrist that is more caring and knowledgable in Cedar Park. I can not stress to you how important I find it that Dr. Smith really takes his time with you. We have never had a visit where we were rushed out the door. In this day and age where you're lucky to get about 10 full minutes of face time with a Doctor, its nice to know there are still people like Dr. Smith around. He really loves what he does and it shows.

I had accidentally put nail glue in my eye instead of my eye drops! The doctor numbed my eye and then proceeded to carefully remove the hardened glue. I was given eye drops to flush my eye and a prescription for antibiotic cream and steroid drops to help with healing. They had me come in the next day and several times after that to be sure I was healing well. I strongly recommend this group of great doctors and staff for any of your eye needs.

We discussed a number of myopia control options with Dr. West and settled on Ortho-K. Everything was explained very clearly and her staff took as much time as was needed to make sure my child could safely and confidently insert and remove the contacts. I Am Wearing My New Glasses as I Type This. Lake Travis Eye…read moreCare is a great place. Great location (in the same parking lot at P Terry's near Lake Travis High School), easy parking right out front, and a professional office. To address Sarah-from-Chicago's review about the office not being a friendly place for a 3-year-old and that is understandable. There are frames to choose from all along the walls where you can pull them down and try them on. Common courtesy tells you that you shouldn't let a three year old pull the glasses down off the wall and that if the child does that, they are actually "hurting" something despite the child not having yet put them under the mother's car tire. Also ... That is very strange about them wanting to charge $5 to adjust her mother's glasses and maybe that was a misunderstanding. Anyway, the employees at Lake Travis Eye Care were caring and hard working to help me and my husband with what we needed. We both did our eye appointments and then chose our glasses. It took 8 business days until our glasses were ready to pick up -- and my husband's has all the bells and whistles (not literally). I would recommend this place.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gibson's since she opened her business. I have always had great…read moreservice and she is very thorough and kind to me and my daughter. More impressive is that my daughter suffers from a rare eye disorder that causes 2 rows of lashes to grow on her upper and lower lids. This causes painful swelling, irritation and damage to the cornea. So whenever the lashes decided to grow, the only way to relieve the pain is by having Dr. Gibson pluck them out with delicate precision. I never know when my daughter will call and say "Mon,my eye is swelling, there is a lash or lashes scratching my lens." EVERYTIME this has occurred,Dr. Gibson happily makes room in her schedule to fit us in and carefully extract the rogue lashes from her eye (typically 6-8) as this is the only way to stop the pain and get back to life as usual.
