The food was good. However, this is France, and when in France, you can expect small portions. If you're American and accustomed to larger servings, you won't find that here. Everything is priced separately, so the items on the menu don't include sides like rice or naan bread. Personally, I don't eat much, so I thought it was fine. When you order naan bread, they only give you one piece--unlike other countries where you often get more. It feels a bit stingy, and you're paying a lot for minimal food. I don't understand why this restaurant doesn't include sides with the dishes; it seems odd that everything is priced separately. The service was just okay. Some of the best Indian food we have ever had. And I love Indian food. We came in for dinner, as we were staying at a hotel nearby. We were seated right away. Ambiance is like a fancy Indian restaurant, with great service overall. Staff was very friendly and polite. - Chicken curry (5/5): Delicious! Amazing flavor, super savory, perfect spices. - Lamb vindaloo (5/5): Also so yummy. The lamb was super tender. - Garlic naan (5/5): The naan was doughy, garlicky, so good. - Samosa (5/5): Okay everything was 5/5 here. Samosas were crispy, filling was tasty. Very overpriced for the amount you get. Chicken biryani came with white rice on the top which had me wondering if the biryani was premade but not enough to serve so white rice was thrown in to suffice. Samosas came out completely plated 2 minutes after the order was placed -- again, making me wonder how fresh the food was. Service was ok. Took a while for someone to come over after we finished dinner (at least 15 minutes). Ambiance was ok. They were so gracious as we rushed in and ordered a full on meal for a late lunch right before closing. These folks know how to do it right. Great Indian food in Paris (near Le Meridien Etoile and CEDEX). A bit pricey (easily 40-60 EUR for a meal), but quite good. There are some set menus for lunch, and the full range of veg and non-veg options you'd find at most Indian restaurants; I couldn't tell if there was a regional specialization. I'd say this is a 4-4.5 for London (based on price), but in Paris or elsewhere in Europe, easily 5. The one unusual item was the cheese naan. I'm used to a hard/dry and fairly minimal cheese in cheese naan. Here, it was a creamy French-seeming cheese (maybe something like melted camambert?), which was surprisingly good. read more

I really liked this place. Huge selection and the foods very good. Unfortunately they never brought me the dessert that I paid for but I was in a rush so they may have intended to rather than forgotten, however ten minutes after I order it when I've paid the bill and said I'm in a rush sounds to me like they forgot. Either way, it was a very good meal. I had the lamb vindaloo and the chili cheese naan. What stood out was the sauces and pickles they brought with the meal. While none was great on it own, they were all additive to the flavor of the lamb. Really fun and enjoyable. I'd definitely come back. read more

Me and my Wife were in Paris for a few days. We were really craving some good upscale Indian cuisine locally. We did a nice formal sit down for dinner. Amazing food indeed!!! Really excellent food, superb customer service. Classy and elegant ambiance and decor. You can say somewhat worldy in a way. I happen to be a very picky eater and that's difficult obviously, right? They were so patient, and accommodating. We asked for some custom and specific touches to pretty much our entire order. They totally delivered and went out on a limb for us without a doubt!! Being Indian American, having Indian food made with full precision was important. It just felt like Home. My wife said the kebabs reminded us of the traditional Indian style recipe and preparation. We loved it here! Great service and the food is delicious! We ordered chicken tikka masala and nan bread. Ordered a level 1 on spice scale and that was just right. The waiter was very attentive the entire meal and very professional. When our table candle went out, he came and relit it within seconds. Just a great staff and wonderful ambiance.
