Over the top deliciousness awaits you at Khajuraho! Based on the great reviews here on Yelp, we decided to make a last minute reservation. You'll definitely want to to do this! The place was packed and for good reason - it's sublime Started with the spicy cheese naan and ended up ordering a second it was too yummy. Filled with Brie or something just as creamy Wow Also got the beignets which were filled with lentils, spices and layers upon layers of sauces. Never had this before but now it's all I'm thinking about Main courses included the paneer butter masala which is a treat since most restaurants in the US only do a chicken version and the other choice was a spicy paneer with peppers, onions and another super flavorful sauce Service was attentive and dedicated to making sure we had a good time - and we did. I'll be honest, I was skeptical about Indian food in Paris, but I'm glad I was pleasantly surprised with how well-executed the food here was! I also loved the owner and will never forget when he said, "yes, but you've never had French cheese naan and you won't soon forget it." He is right, I won't because it was one of the most delicious cheese naans I've ever had! It was also as small as he said it would be and I wish I would have ordered two Lol It was really nice to have some flavorful Indian food after eating so much pizza and pasta. The restaurant has a beautiful patio outside, we were visiting in August, but my husband was afraid of a bee so we moved inside, which was equally nice. They have some interesting kama sutra sculptures on the wall. Probably questionable for younger eyes. I will definitely be visiting again next time we're in Paris! read more

Great Indian food in the middle of everything in Paris. The taste of the chaat was authentic delhi style and set the tone for the meal. Biryani, daal and Kadhai paneer all good. Loved the breads too, aloo kulcha was too good. Will be here again. read more

We were craving Indian food on a freezing night in Paris and so glad we came here. The food was excellent, everything tasted so good my favorite was the vegetable biryani. The service was above and beyond, very friendly and they even gave us a complimentary post dinner drink. I especially liked the fact that we didn't feel rushed even though we were one of the last ones in the restaurant. The ambience is great for a intimate dinner. Would highly recommend. read more

After 7 days of French food, we decided to switch it up! Amazing Northern Indian cuisine - I've never had elegant Indian food, this was a hint of spice - absolutely delicious. We had onion naan, Saffron rice, Baingan Bharta, Vegetable Korma - I thought I ordered Chicken Tika but it was chicken breast marinated with yogurt, saffron, and spices and grilled in the tandoor - paired with a Gewürztraminer. The food is just ok, not that much for the hype. the portion size is very small even for French standards. the owner convinced us not to order a dish as "it is for French taste" and later said that it is not available. Just be honest and say you dont have it. The drinks are sub par. The Kamasutra images on the walls were inappropriate for kids sitting inside while we asked to be seated outside. Made a lunch reservation but I don't think it was necessary. We were promptly sat and served. We had the chicken tikka masala and chicken mahkani. The naan was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant. My daughter and I had dinner here during a recent trip to Paris. We both agreed that Khajuraho has the BEST Indian food. We live in the Bay Area, so we have access to many great Indian restaurants, but this was exceptional! We started with the complimentary papadum. (We didn't receive the sauces that I saw on other tables, but it's possible that we were supposed to ask for that.) We ordered the channa masala, paneer tikka masala, plus plain and onion naan, which were all delicious. I will definitely come back the next time I'm in Paris! read more

We just finished dinner at Khajuraho, and it was so delicious. The Chicken Tikka Masala was so flavorful. We ordered it medium spicy & next time I would order it a little less spicy, as my lips were burning throughout dinner! The butter chicken was delicious as well. I eat a lot of Indian food. Not just because I'm Indian lol but because it's just the holy grail of food to me. Being in Paris where food is life and life is perfect, therefore food must be perfect (Descartes) it was only time we tried Indian food in Paris. Khajuraho blew away all my expectations away. This is some of the best Indian food I've had in my life. First off my frame of reference is only Indian food is pretty solid. Moms cooking to Jackson heights to Edison, NJ to most of India and now my favorite City. So I've had it all. What makes Khajuraho different starts with service. Like a lot of Indian joints services can be dicey. In fine dining you usually won't go wrong but man was this the best service I've had. Attentive, perfect timing, and such great recommendations. The cocktail I had was the Tadka Colombian mule which was dynamite. Mix a little spice with the tropics and man you get a well blended beverage. Ma Fille had mango lassi for the first time (she's French) and loved it. Now the food. Good god man. The curries are just delicious. We started with the simple test of time. Yeah it's cliche but this is how I judge. Korma and makhani. If velvety without tasting the six tons of oil and cream , then it's done right. This was done superbly. I wanted to just lick the bowl clean of both dishes. Rice was divine and the NAAN Wasn't bad. I love that they rubbed even the inside of the naan with garlic which was awesome. It wasn't the huge monstrosity of fluff you get at a lot of places (which I love) but it was fresh and delicate. The pistachio kulfi is phenomenal for dessert. We also had the gulab jamun which was no different than any other with maybe a tad bit less sweet. I probably still got tooth decay but a dental appointment is always complimentary with any gulab jamun All in all this is one of the finest Indian establishments I've dined at and you will absolutely enjoy it. I looked up reviews for good Indian restaurants close to our hotel and decided on Khajuraho bc of the good reviews. I'm so glad we ate here. This restaurant is Michelin Star worthy! The atmosphere is classy, elegant and eclectic. We were warmly greeted and the host was charming and welcoming. The food is truly the best Indian food I ever ate in my life. Better than Junoon and Tamarind in NY. I took the hosts recommendations and ordered the saffron rice and shrimp dish. It was divine! The nan was buttery and soft. The service was impeccable.
