How have I NOT reviewed Kiperts? I love this store! It has all the supplies I need for my farm animals! The staff is extremely knowledgeable about anything I need and answer all my questions with a smile on their face. Super friendly staff indeed! It's easy to find, it's just past the airport on 99. Parking is right in front of store. All the staff is polite and hardworking. Highly recommend for all your pets need. Full farm supply and house pets. In spring you can even get your chicks for egg laying. read more

I bought fence post insulators for the top of T posts at Kipperts. They were Gallagher brand. I bought three bags and took them home opened one bag up and could not get any of the post top insulators to fit so I return them to Kipperts. They told me they could not accept the bag that had been previously opened, and would not return my money. I told the clerk the FPS would not fit on any t posts would not fit on any post. She proceeded to take the tops to a T post to show me how it would fit, trying to be helpful. The sales clerk was also unable to get the T post tops to fit on any post that she had in her display. It is unfortunate that they will not stand behind their product and be courteous about allowing a return when a product is obviously not able to work in the manner in which it is intended. While I will continue to buy feed from Kipperts, I will probably never ever buy any item that has the slightest possibility of needing to be returned after being treated this way. It seems this company has a problem holding up their end of an agreement. We were happy to give them our business and agreed upon a deal, however, to our surprise sold the item to someone else. After looking over another review the same exact thing happened to someone else! I would strongly suggest not doing business with the Kiperts as they are untrustworthy and have poor business practices. read more

Had an issue with our new pup. Unsuccessfully tried to get advice or an appointment from three local vets. Never have I felt like people cared so little to even take a second to talk about an issue. After searching for my own answers and finding what I needed I found the solution at Kiperts. When I was at the store and had what I needed, granted I was still pretty clueless, the lady at the checkout spent more effort in the three minutes I was in line than I ever expected. Made sure I correctly identified the issue, and that I had the right stuff to solve it. I will now be switching to Kiperts for everything I need for pups and chickens. That kind of local caring service doesn't come often, and it deserves to be rewarded. read more

My first time here. I was looking for a wood pellet cat litter for our new boy, George. They very helpful in pointing out a couple options. A 35# bag for $5.50?? Amazing! Let's hope that works for the new kid. There are many other pet foods and accessories to choose from too. This looks like a good source and resource for your pets, large and small. read more

Went to Kiperts tonight to pick up grain . We have been long time customers and have appreciated their service. Tonight my little boy had to use a restroom, it was an emergency! We were told he couldn't use their bathroom and we should take him to the gas station down the road. We were told the owners did not allow people to use their restroom. I understand this, but it was an emergency! We didn't have time! We did not appreciate the treatment that was given to my little boy nor the lack of consideration for the emergency at hand. As we left the store and went outside an employee from a different department was kind and allowed my little boy to use the restroom. We still bought our grain, and will continue to support local business when possible, however, I can support my horses from places like "Tractor Supply", just as easily and use a restroom when there is an emergency. We've spent thousands at Kiperts. I hope Kiperts appreciates this!! read more

I am so impressed! We placed and paid for our order over the phone. We called when we arrived and they packed up our truck without us even having to get out. They always have everything I need and they are very nice. I wish all businesses would behave this way during this crisis, it shows Kippert's really cares about it's customers and their employees. Was advised to give this place a try to buy some pellets for my husband's shop pellet stove. Being my first experience with a pellet stove I had no idea what kind of/how many pellets I needed to get. Miss Jen was amazingly both helpful and friendly. Coming from Hawaii I never experienced wood stoves let alone pellet stoves before. So Miss Jen and the other lady there I didn't catch her name but, she was handling the phones that were ringing off the chart while I was there were great. Miss Jen even shared with me a good place not to far down the road where I could find gravel for our driveway and noted that they were extremely willing/ helpful. THANK YOU MISS JEN! Best place for customer service, and price on Pellet stove pellets. And she even mentioned they carry them year round! The youngman that loaded them in my truck was very nice as well. read more

Kipert's is the best. Family owned by friendly farmers with helpful staff. Well stocked with farm, garden, and pet supplies. They can answer questions, give advice (if you ask) and special order what we need. Always efficient and fair. Thank you for accommodating customers in every reasonable way. Good people, good prices. Treat em right. Plus, gay friendly - we have been welcome there for over 20 years. They don't have a greeter like WalMart, but just ask, and the gals will come right out to the floor and help you find whatever you need. read more

I've been buying hay and feed at Kiperts for 10+ years. Their hay is almost always a better quality than Del's. I moved from Tumwater to Shelton several years ago and tried buying hay at Dels, because it's closer to me now. I gave that up and make the drive to Kiperts for hay. Jen and Julie have been there for years and I always enjoy seeing them, too. read more

Its amazing how much is packed into this place! They have all things dog, cat, horse, bird, rabbit, etc. From food to litter to bedding to snacks to chew toys. They even have gardening items like gloves, seeds, and fertilizers. It was a bit overwhelming actually. I wouldn't say there were the friendliest, but they were ok. Of course, the fact that my partner and I are very obviously gay might have something to do with it. But maybe they were all just having an off day. Anyway, I can get cedar pellet litter for my cats at about 1/3 the cost of what I pay at Mud Bay (tho I love Mud Bay!), although the pellets are quite a bit larger (which actually makes them easier to scoop). read more

Everyone at the counter as well as the labor boys in the barn are very friendly. We love Kiperts. It feels like home.

Best prices in town. I like the farm boutique on the east side, but their straw bales are like $13 and kipperts are $8. I go to kipperts to buy all my feed and it's dollars cheaper than the "urban" farm store. The folks who work behind the counter are always down to answer questions or talk about ducks! It's country but their not weird about queers covered in tattoos. read more

Nobody greeted us at the door or bothered to help us after wondering around aimlessly for 15 minutes. Really could have used some advice! All dog food on sale table is past expiration date and being sold for 50$+. Good prices compared to other places is the only plus. read more
