History
Established in 2010.
Owner-operator Baines Kinnison started KAW in 2010 after serving for a few years as the FOH sound engineer for a regional touring band in Virginia called "Rainmarket". When the band folded, Kinnison decide it was time to move back home to Texas. Austin was obviously the place to be. After settling in for a year and working as a musician and writer for an art company, an opportunity arose to handle some production for some bands performing at charity event for the Blue Theater on Austin's east side. "The idea to get my own sound & light company going had been brewing for several years at this point. The little event was the first production I did, and KAW was officially under-way."

Owner-operator Baines Kinnison delivers plenty of bang for your buck while offering the best and brightest in audio and lighting technology. Serving the central Texas region since 2010, Baines has worked along side some of Texas' most respected events, artists and organizations including High Beam, Tribeza, Localeur, SXSW, T-Bird & The Breaks, Ray Benson, Ruby Jane, The Austin Food & Wine Alliance, RTX Con, PBS and Austin City Limits to name just a few. To describe Baines is to call him an efficiency expert and a genius organizer. He works tirelessly to make every package deployed a proud example of how stellar event production is done. It is this grand effort that defines KAW.
