Got the blessing of talking with Steven the owner and he was a great guy with some fun stories.
I had something in mind to order but, I was there on Torta Thursday, buy one get one half off. I'm not as dumb as I look. So, I do that.
One chicken and one steak (to take home to my Wife)
This torta might as well be tortuga. It is the size of a big snapper turtle! It took up the entire styrofoam clam shell meal-sized to go box!
Like, the side of fries have to come in their own separate box.
Yeah, it's like that.
But wait! there's more...with Queso. Fries with Queso.
So Tasty!
$13 bucks for a Platter sized sandwich and a separate plate of fries WITH queso (usually an extra $5-6)
All the prices are going to put other people out of business.
Clean.
New.
Bright.
Coffees, drinks, lunch, take out...
I can't come up with a reason I don't love this place.
Oh, you sweet tooth people, Gelato for days...artisan flavors of them too.
Want a sample? Free! They actually try to push them on you! Go ahead, then!
The decor. I absolutely love it. White.
Vaulted ceilings. Instead of art...coffee bags from the beans.
Couple of high chairs hidden behind the last booth...you know who you are.
From the outside: Aside from the giant "We are Open" sign, you would think this thing is a cell phone repair shop, but it's so big inside!
Want to sit outside and watch them work on building Northpark Drive into a freeway? There are a couple of tables for that too.
If Italiano's, next door, has too long of a wait, you just might feed your group here for 1/3 the cost and leave happy.
Go Steve! Keep up the good eats!
OH, the Loo Review: Join the Beatles walking down the hallway, to the single spacious bathroom. One of those new cool light up mirrors, which make you look better than you do in real life. Very on theme for the restaurant, same white treatment. All the basic acoutrements mounted to the walls, clean and tidy. Thumbs up. read more
