Balance a tub of nachos on your knee in a dead silent theater while holding in a fart of biblical proportions.

Stuff happens, especially when you have high powered hot lights that have cooling problems. Where things shine is what happens when that happens. We just walked out, talked to someone, got a ticket for the next nearest showing and went into that. no mess, no 'oh that's later int he day more expensive you have to cover it' just a quick swap, new seats picked, and back in we went. We didn't eat there so I can't comment on the food pricing, but, everything is more expensive these days.

I've ordered pretzel bites or other food ahead for seat delivery several times. Typically you must have your ticket scanned by the attendant to "check-in" and alert staff to prepare food for delivery. Sometimes my food has been delivered rather quickly and other times not. This visit was probably the worst of them all. I arrived at 11:30am for the 12:00 pm showing and had my ticket scanned. I know it takes some time and very rarely criticize food service at any establishment. However, I was not expecting it to take ONE HOUR for delivery of an order of pretzel bites to my seat, especially since other patrons ordered in their seats after arriving and received their orders before me. Once received at 12:30 when I arrived at 11:30, I was stunned by the much smaller portion size for the price than in years past. Beyond the clear service issue, I was also disappointed that Spider-Man themed popcorn buckets were available at the in person concession stand and not available to order ahead on the app. There was no mention of these being available at Silverspot on social media or the like until hours AFTER my screening. I would have preferred this and, had I known, waited until I arrived at the theater to purchase. I contacted customer service online right after my screening. The website stated a response would be sent within one business day. Three business days and a follow up email later, I finally received a "response" which felt very impersonal and not sincere. The "response" repeated many of my talking points and said feedback would be "passed along" to the team. Much like an AI-generated response. Subsequent emails have been ignored. Needless to say, I have no interest in patronizing this theater in the future after being a longtime customer.

A movie theater, laser tag, an arcade, billiards, a bar, and even a Chinese restaurant! Hopefully I didn't leave anything out. We tried the billiards first, but all the per game cheap tables were taken. Only the per hour ones were avail and more than we wanted to pay. Plus the mostly male patrons did not make us feel welcome from the looks we got so we moved onto the arcade. You have to buy a card to play the games and the machine was confusing, even with asking a couple people buying one. Of course there wasn't an employee anywhere inside to ask for assistance, but we finally figured it out. Unless you want to play shoot em up games, most of what they have is for kids, incl a very short whack a mole game. We did play a pinball game that frequently shouted, well that's a real cow pie shot, or something to that effect! Long story short, for as much as they have to offer you're either going to find some entertainment value or not.

No, it's a big enclosed and air conditioned fun-house mall for all ages alike! I wandered around but just had some beers and a burger at the "Crazy Dragon Tavern". Unlike some other reviews, I thought the whole place seemed clean and nice. I did not know to expect a mini-disneyland in the middle of nowhere near Roxboro! The pub was good, with kind staff, and a nice fancy burger. I pondered sticking around all night to catch a movie but didn't. But the next time my brother visits I think we might drive on up here for the convenience of it!

I hadn't been to the movies in so long...because of the pandemic. *sigh* I missed it so much. I so…read moredidn't expect a crowd and a long line on a Sunday, but we didn't have to wait too long. I was so excited to see the movie Elvis. The movie itself was outstanding. Felt like I was at an Elvis concert lol...so that should say a lot about the actual movie. This is my go to theater. I've only been to 1 other theater in NC and that was a date someone invited me to. I love the recliner chairs. As soon as I reclined it, I felt like I could fall asleep. The reclining seats matter to me, as I have a medical condition that makes my body extremely uncomfortable and stiff at times, so these types of seats make a world of difference for me. If any of you suffer with pain, mobility issues or rheumatoid type conditions, but you enjoy movie theaters, I highly suggest you only go to the ones like this one that have the reclining seats. When I go to the movie theater, I don't really look at or buy any food/snacks there, so I cannot comment on that. The theater itself was clean. I can't get down with a dirty theater whatsoever. No issues for me!

My issue first tis that the staff really seems like they dont want to be there. They are rude and they do not have any communication skills. They had 2 lines when we got there and didnt communicate if one was tickets and 1 was concessions. It looked like 2 likes were open so when the customer in front of me got their items and left I moved up. I stood at the counter for 5 minutes with workers all over and no one coming over to me or asking me to move to the other like all the while the other line is moving and a ton of people behind me got their items before me. After the 5 mins I said something to a worker and they were very rude to me and said there was only 1 line open. I decided not to buy any concessions. The prices are the other issue. You used to get an unlimited refill popcorn bucket for $9 which already is a lot considering it cost them like 10 cents for that amount of popcorn but they aren't profiting enough already so they got rid of the bucket for a bag and now you get 1 refill. It was an annoying and bad experience.
