This is a great spot for a RI pizza. Service was very friendly and efficient. You can't go wrong with dining in or for takeout. read more

Kingston Pizza - Meatball Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Charleston, Rhode Island

I just ordered delivery from Kingston Pizza for the first time in a long while. I was told it would arrive between 45-60 minutes. I had my pizzas in under 40 minutes, so that's a plus. I'm going to have to say... does this pizza knock your socks off? Or is it some kind of unique pizza you can't get anywhere else? No, to both counts. But the current score of 2 is also pretty darn harsh. While it's not amazing, it's still a pretty solid pizza. The crust isn't overly thick or chewy, and it's not too thin or crunchy. It's leavened properly, and it isn't flavorless like 2005 Domino's hand-tossed. It's pretty much what I remember from the last time I ordered from them, which means they're reliable and consistent. They're pretty on par with Charlestown Famous, as far as I'm concerned. And Kingston Pizza has a 18" pie available. I ordered a 911 Turbo and Italian, both 18", and a bottle of Coca-Cola. With delivery fee and tip, it came to about $100 (optional tip, mind you, but I choose to tip, since I'm asking them to deliver all the way to my location). Pizza's gotten...........expensive. Now, of course, that sounds like it's a lot of food, for those who don't know me. For those who do, though, they know... "Oh, that's just Tuesday night for Issac." Anyway, if you read the descriptions for the 911 Turbo and the Italian, they sound pretty similar. And they are, but, for anyone deliberating between the two, go for 911 Turbo. I found the roasted peppers on the Italian gave it a bit of a bitter flavor (they were green bell peppers, so it makes sense; I just didn't find the flavor combination to be complementary). Meanwhile, the steak and bacon on the 911 Turbo gave a bit of sweetness and chew to the texture. It does also have notably more cheese, but without reading it in the description, I wouldn't have known that it has a thicker crust. Overall, next time I want to order pizza for delivery, I'd still be happy flipping a coin between Kingston Pizza and my other choice. read more

Ordered during peak time, came out at a decent enough time. Way too overpriced, toppings fell off immediately. Cute place, too overpriced m

If we could give it one star I would. Aweful pizza and service. I would recommend any other place.

I will never get food from Kingston pizza. sloppy pizza uneven crust and rude owner still waiting for crappy pizza over an hour and a half they were like oh well don't order here. I'll take him up on that. I was a good customer ordered from there once a week I'm gonna make sure to tell everybody about them. If you like sloppy pizza then go ahead and go there read more

Called answered the phone then proceeded to not talk to me.. unbelievable I will never go to this place ever again. Ran by children

An 'ok' pizza. Could've used a little more sauce and was a little soggy. Still a decent, but unspectacular pizza. Wouldn't make a special trip, but its worth checking out if you're close by. Clerk was a little grumpy. read more

Had been going here every Friday we were home for 15 years. Last fall started going down hill in quality and frequent mixing up orders. Started going to K&S where it is always great. Went to Kingston early in July at the time they said it would be ready (25 minutes) and after waiting a while was told it had not gone in yet and to come back in 20 minutes. Went back in 20 minutes and was told it was not quite done. After another long wait it came out with three others (didn't recognize one of them being ours) and all three were left on the cutting board. After 15 minutes the girl realized one of those was ours and had a person from the back come out and slice it. I told them I would never be back and that this was unacceptable. This was not the first time this had happened as our pizza sat on top of the oven for 20 minutes one night after we walked in and asked for it, being told it was not done yet. read more

Ordered 5 half sheet pizzas (~$150 order). When I got to the restaurant I was told those pizzas were given to someone else, and I'd have to wait for mine to be remade. I contacted owner of this branch to try and rectify this situation as all I got was a "oh sorry" and believe more should have been done due to this inconvenience. Wouldn't recommend!! Run by a bunch of idiots! read more

good pizza, good salads, lots of variety on the menu. They have lots of specialty pizzas.

I grew up in RI in the 90's, and this was my family's favorite. I've tried pizza in the many places I've lived and traveled since including Chicago, New York, San Francisco. This is still the best pizza I've ever had. I get it every time we're back in RI. Get the Ferrari - real link sausage and peppers (hot peppers optional - both ways are great). The Garlic Rose is also great. But everything here is great. Good ingredients make good food. Don't change, Kingston Pizza! You nailed it from the start. read more

My grinder was terrible, rotten tomatoes & lettuce. The bread was bad too smooshy. Cheap bread. Too many pickles. After taking off all the rotting vegetables & pickle nothing left but bologna and mushy bread. Never again. Only one star because it's the lowest. They don't deserve any stars read more

Called in to order a large pepperoni & and onion pizza for pick up. 20 minutes later, we got there, and the pizza was ready and hot. The staff was friendly, the price was 21.00, the typical pizza price. Loved this pizza, lots of toppings, not greasy, and a crispy crust! Perfect, I would definitely order again and try some sandwiches, too. read more

Just had the best steak and cheese. I could've imagined. They had me in and out the door quickly. I also thoroughly enjoy their Alfredo "M5" chicken and broccoli calzones. read more

It was nice to see young Americans working the kitchen. Although I will Comment on my experience because I want you to succeed so that I can come back. Please don't play with your sweaty hair and then touch the pizza or food. You did very well at cooking the pizza since Last year the chef gave you dough. Another important thing to do is pizza sauce for pizza. Although this needed a lot of help with ingredients but please don't use it for the pasta meal as well. There is a difference. Hope you take this criticism positively and I'm sure many people will come. /back. read more

Nope. Never again! No chicken on the Caesar with chicken that we paid for! The Caprese salad was a handful of romaine, a few grape tomatoes, a few strips of cheese and uncut, brown basil. Where was the balsamic glaze? It doesn't exist. You get a dressing packet mass produced. Keep driving.... Oh yah, The last time we made the mistake of ordering GF pizza. They didn't tell us they didn't have any more GF crust until I was there to pick it up read more

First off where is the adult? The place is run by children when we came in. Waited about an hour for our food, and we heard one of the children if they could ask if they could serve a visibly burn calzone. Unbelievable. Again who owns this place?!?!! If I could give it negative starts I would. Food was at least edible. If there's an adult around I'm sure it would be higher quality. **upon further inspection I didn't even get the calzone I ordered, also my cousins taco pizza had no meat** read more

I ordered two grinders. They took 35 minutes, were not cooked right! A toasted grinder is just that, TOASTED! I was given some excuse about they were cleaning the ovens. Clean them after you close, or come in early and get them done! Eighteen dollars for two sandwiches that were horrible, and cold. Very disappointed. This place has gone down hill, and should really not rely on summer people, because there are a lot of locals that are unhappy with the quality of the food. read more

Holy fucking shit. 50$. 50$ for 1 X-Large (which was not even kidding, actually, just a large pizza cut into more slices. For 5$ more. What the hell?!) and 3 orders of fries. At the time of making this, the cost for that on the menu was 25$. We were charged DOUBLE. This is absolutely unacceptable and when we called, they said "We are unable to offer a refund." DO NOT order from here. Please, for your own good. read more

Just got back to work after picking up a grilled chicken grinder. Worst sandwich I think I ever ordered. Ordered everything but no tomatoes. Where's the lettuce?, no cheese and very little chicken on the grinder. It's basically just bread. Terrible!! Won't be ordering from there again. It's really disappointing. Take pride in your work people. Charlene B read more

Wow if you want to die eating burned crust call in the order. This is literally the worst pizza I've ever had. People were nice but I guess when you're serving burned up crap saucers that's all you can do. You're better off fasting. read more

Usually we love the pizza here and don't have any problems. Tonight the order took 2 1/2 hours and 1 1/2 hours it was out for delivery. The pizza arrived Luke warm at best and the boxes were dented into the cheese. Good thing is the delivery driver apologized for the long time. Very disappointed!! read more

Why oh why is it always a nightmare at this pizza parlor? They can't hold on to help and when they do it's always chaos? The employees bitch at each other constantly and the saddest of all is the food is better than average. This place has always been this way it is a shame read more

I have lived in Charlestown for over 35 years. This used to be a good place to order food but not lately. I have had numerous bad experiences lately. Tonight I placed an order for 2 hamburgers and a Philly steak for delivery. The order was placed at 5, I was told it would be 45 minutes. The driver showed up at 7. The food is cold, the French fries are soggy, the lettuce is black and wilted. This is my last orderfor them and I live a half mile away. read more

I am in love with Kingston Pizza's Vegetarian pizza - the tomato sauce is savory and very flavorful. In addition to all the usual ingredients on this pizza, there is a key topping that takes it to the next level in my opinion - eggplant! I've been a loyal customer for years. I always order takeout and have had courteous and prompt service. read more

Unfortunately, quality and service is inconsistent. A no frills pizza place that has enough on their menu to please everyone. Decent crust, but skimpy toppings. Many combinations to choose from however. Eat in so your food is hot. Extremely casual, so its an easy stop after beaching it all day. read more

Piss poor customer service. Don't understand why they give attitude when ordering a pizza on the phone WHEN THAT IS THEIR JOB!!? I recommend k&s read more

Good food, poor service. Little concern for making the sitting spaces clean and tidy, was here for a half hour after ordering, waiting and eating, and not a single table was bussed. UPDATE: Ordered takeout, they had it perfect and on time. Takeout, yes; sit-down no. read more

Mediocre pizza at best, tastes like cardboard, and chews like it. Dollar store microwaved frozen pizza would be better.

Disappointed with our Covid take out experience. Customer service was lacking. Take out only. They did not tell us when it would be ready or how to pick it up. You are not allowed in and staff are rude if you try to go in or ask. Honestly the salads were ok read more

kingston pizza on the post road has been one of my favorite places to eat for many many years. up until today. i was very dissatisfied with the food that I received when I picked up it. every year i get their NY style weenies. this year...not so great. i opened the box to see burnt chili on the hot dog, with no onions. when i has asked for onions on them. who sees that the chili is burn and still decides to serve it?? i also ordered one of my favorites, couch potato pizza. the pizza itself was good but it came with no sour cream as it said it would. we got an order of wings as well, half buffalo, half honey barbecue. couldn't tell which was which. it also didn't come with celery or dressing as it said it would. the wings seemed slightly undercooked aswell. i'm not sure if the owners have changed since last year or if the workers just have poor serving skills. i am highly disappointed and can no longer call kingston pizza one of my favorite places in Charlestown, RI. read more

Kingston Pizza - burnt chili, my favorite... - Pizza Near Me - Charleston, Rhode Island

This is a horrible place for pizza!! I have ordered take out from here only on a Monday because the better pizza place down the street, Charlestown Famous Pizza is closed on Mondays. I really try to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt and forgive some bad experiences, but it's now every time I have tried, I have been disappointed. I ordered a BBQ chicken pizza last time and received the pizza with red sauce on it?! Yuck! Who puts the red sauce on a BARBECUE pizza? Thought it was just a fluke. This time I ordered a chicken, bacon, ranch pizza - and yet again, red sauce is on it. I spoke to the guy at the counter and he let me know that the owner has all the pizzas premade with red sauce and cheese. The guys up front can't do anything about it. This dough is not fresh! I will not be going here again. I'd rather wait it out another day on Mondays and go to Famous! read more

After a few months, I finally figured out whats wrong with this place. See it's not just here...theres way too many Kingston Pizza shops all over south county. It seems theres one on every corner ! They're in Wakefield, SK, Narry, Charlestown, Richmond...to name just a few. So clearly it has become all about QUANTITY as opposed to QUALITY with this wanna-be chain pizza joint. Thats what always happens. read more

Not sure what's going on in there but went in and ordered a specialty pizza that cost over $20.00. They said it would be about 20 mins. Well waited there for 25 mins and looked over the counter and saw my pizza on the cutting bench. Now the pizza guy is pulling pizzas out of the oven and giving them to customers that came on after me. He finally noticed me and said your pizza is ready. So I said I hope it's still hot. So he asks if I want him to make another one. No I just want mine hot and don't want to wait another half hour. Left with the cold pizza and won't be back. read more

Pizzas aren't bad, some creative toppings and combinations, but we've stopped going here, even though it's the closest to us. Too many mixed up orders or mistakes. Toppings have become scantier, prices have increased, and service is only fair at best. read more
