A decent, albeit pricey pizza. Right along the beach, so price was expected, but still a fact it's pricey. Good cheese and sauce, friendly people. While I was there someone, I'm presuming the owner/ manager was showing one of the younger ones how to make a pizza. They seemed to be getting along well, you often see a lot of caous in kitchens, but they were great.

Escorted into the bar area, we chose a Counter style booth right next to the wood-burning stove. I found the additional warmth & cozy surroundings to be just terrific. That night, there was a jazz trio playing, and it added a real sense of flare to the place. My guest and I shared eggplant fries that were lightly coated & crisp absolutely delicious! For dinner he ordered a Caesar salad and lasagna and devoured every bit. I enjoyed the braised beef short ribs, which were tender, served with a rich velvety sauce & mashed potatoes. We added a side of roasted Brussel sprouts that were yummy! (though a bit over salted) Crispy cannolis with homemade ricotta filling were taken home to spoil our kiddos! Our waitress SUE was an attentive and thoughtful, lovely person!

I think I'm going to add it to my calamari now! The kids chicken cutlet meal with fresh cut fries were amazing! The three of us ate the fries and still took the rest to go. Chicken cutlet was thin, crispy and moist inside. We always get the same pizzas wherever we go. Naturally, it makes comparing different restaurants on a good baseline. We got a large NY style (thin crust) pepperoni with half sausage. I'm not a huge sausage fan but my boys are. However, this crumbled sausage was delicious. The pizza is put into a wood fire pizza oven, crust was perfect; thin and cooked well but not burnt. The undercarriage held its shape with a nice bite and crunch! I had to finish off the meal with a Nutella pizza and I have zero regrets. A thin pizza crust with decadent Nutella spread all over it and sprinkled with crushed hazelnuts ended the meal perfectly. Ambiance and decor is modern and beautiful, family friendly and the staff is fantastic! I can't wait to go back and try other types of pizza. They offer Neapolitan, Grandma's and NY; not to mention other foods as well. Ciao!

Love that they have several choices for pizza by the slice as we weren't looking for a whole pie and didn't need the leftovers. We took it to-go so no pictures. I had the meat lovers and it was easy to tell that they use good quality meats. It was not very greasy considering the amount of fat laden meat it had on it, which I greatly appreciated. I particularly liked the little sausages. My kid had a few slices of NY style roni and it was truly reminiscent of NY pizza. He really liked it and although just a kid, he's had many different pizzas over the years. I would 100% go back if I was ever in the area again.

I have never imagined a pretentious pizza crust until now, throwing sesame seeds on there and pretending it improves anything? Chicken is frozen and fried, which is okay, except when you have the cheapest available. The crust is not a thin crust! This entire establishment is insulting to NY style anything! I am not even from New York and this irritates me. What a waste of space. If you respect the food you eat, go anywhere else. What a shame it is right in town, they must know the right people. What is going on here? Dave's supermarket uses superior ingredients and makes better pizza. Also there's a chance for you to have one of the worst human interactions you will experience: I don't have a problem if you hear the order wrong or make a simple mistake. The girl misheard my order. Not a big deal, I did not care at all. There was no problem at all until she could not fathom she made a mistake. She insisted I said something I never did, which again was not a big problem until she insisted over and over again and would not let up, refusing to admit to a simple miscommunication. Then she proceeds to explain step by step how to order a pizza like I am a child. Are you joking? Lecturing an adult on how to order a pizza? After not listening? The complete lack of self awareness and empathy is baffling. Never mind that everyone who works on the phone in the food industry knows, to avoid these silly mistakes you repeat the order back to the customer, something she may learn someday.

I truly appreciated that. I sat in the less used area as there was a baby shower going on in the main space. I'd love to check that side out next time! We walked in for a late lunch and sat at the bar. I love the interior of the space. The pizza oven built of pizza stones is an eyecatcher but if you look around, you'll catch all kinds of fun decor choices throughout the space Our bartender was a gem. She was busy working on side work but she always kept an ear towards us so when we were ready, so was she. A sign of a real professional. We ordered some margaritas, the calamari and a small Powerslide pizza. Before long, she was setting everything down in front of us and we dug right in I was able to sample this pizza before at our National Pizza Day event last month so I was eager to snag a slice the moment it appeared before us. Sausage, caramelized onions, garlic and goat cheese. Yes, please. The combination of toppings with their dough as a base, with the bit of char from the wood fired oven? Divine. The calamari was excellent as well, fried perfectly (and if you know anything about me, I'm a bit particular about seafood). The peppers and olives were classic, well-prepared additions to the dish. And with the drizzle of balsamic, provided the extra acidity that I love on my seafood. And WHEN (not if) you swing by, if you drink make sure you order a cocktail. I've had an espresso martini before and now this time a margarita and every time they knock it out of the park! Loads of flavor options as well so you will find something you love, guaranteed. Summer is coming, so head down to the beach now before it gets too crazy and get one of the best pizzas in South County!

I got there around 11am but they still had a wide selection of calzones, pastries and pizza available. The ladies working the counter were very nice and quick as well. Before long I had my pizza strip and zeppole, and was on my way. The pizza strip at first was sweet. Almost too sweet for me, but as I continued, the sweetness faded into balance with the crust and became quite enjoyable. It wasn't long before I polished it off. It is a softer strip, with a good amount of sauce on top. The zeppole was wonderful. The whipped cream was soft and pillowy inside delicate pastry. What a fabulous dining experience! It all began with manager Arielle helping me with an existing…read morereservation. She went above & beyond with a few phone calls and for that all of our group is grateful. It was a pleasure walking into this airy and energetic restaurant. We were in for a treat as soon as Tori B. greeted us with a great attitude and extensive knowledge of the menu at Celeste. Tori did an excellent job caring for our family as we celebrated a few special occasions this particular night. They did not rush us and allowed us to visit while also providing us exceptional service. Such a true professional in the world of hospitality. The bread service of delicious focaccia was a treat right off the bat. We thoroughly enjoyed the calamari fritto misto with artichoke hearts, pepperoncini, fried lemons, and caper aioli. The spicy whipped feta is a unique preparation with the olive relish, and we raved over the house-made warm pita. Truly some of the best starters the four of us have enjoyed in a long while. It appears Celeste is well known for their pizzas and after consuming the fig & prosciutto pizza we know why. Unctuous blending of flavors with Great Hill blue cheese and so much more. We left room to continue sharing amazing food - the roasted Moroccan chicken and the grilled halibut. Both mains sported their own unique flavors. The Moroccan chicken has a perfect blending of couscous, raisins & cashews with roasted broccolini. The grilled halibut was so perfectly prepared that I dream of ever being able to grill my own back home to such a perfect consistency. Congratulations to a well-run kitchen that supports a seamless front of the house operation. Having managed restaurants for years, I appreciate the energy and passion that goes into creating such memorable dining experiences for guests.

We went on a Thursday evening and street parking was easy to find. Service was great! Here is what we had: 1. Drinks: EASY TIGER- coconut rum, overproof rum, horchata, amontillado, sherry, lime, aromatic bitters. BLOOD, SWEAT, & ROSEMARY (mocktail)- blood orange, lemon, rosemary, soda water. My boyfriend had the easy tiger and found it more tropical tasting than horchata but still liked it. I had the mocktail, which was great! Refreshing drink. Just nice they offer mocktails and tasty ones too! 2. Raw bar: gotta have oysters while in the east coast right? They were from Jamestown and of course yummy. They had a mignonette which was good but since the oysters were so good not needed but a yummy addition option 3. Shared plates/appetizers: CHARRED OCTOPUS- Castlevetrano olive & cannellini bean, frisee, shaved red onion, piri piri, EVOO. This was one of my favorite appetizers. We try octopus everywhere and have had lots of overcooked ones. This was not that! It was soft, buttery and easy to cut and not rubbery. The tail was crispy and yummy. The char was perfect and flavor was on point. PAN ROASTED SUNCHOKES- herbed ricotta, hazelnut, chervil, Calabrian compound butter. What a tasty spin on the sunchokes. I love sunchokes and appreciate a great presentation and different ways to have it. 3. Entrees/Mains: BRANDT FARM 14 OZ RIBEYE- crispy potatoes, onion jam, bravas sauce, haricot vert. My least favorite dish of the night but doesn't mean I have love everything. I still appreciate a really good restaurant and concept. I know this is not a streak house so I understand not being the best steak. It was a bit of a tough steak, but the cooking temp (medium rare) was made to perfection and flavor was simple but perfect (I love love a simple steak without all the extras). The sauce was my least favorite of the dish and could definitely do without. The potatoes and veggies were good except it was somewhat less tasty with the sauce. We made our own surf and turf and had their special for the day. HALIBUT- not sure what was all in for the specifics but this was a winner. The fish was charred yet the moisture was preserved and tasty! Loved the flavoring and sauce. All mixed harmoniously. Dessert: BASQUE CHEESECAKE-fresh whipped cream, brown butter salted caramel, strawberry. We had a hard time deciding between the pistachio tiramisu and the cheesecake. I'm sure both are tasty. I like my cheesecakes more simple and asked for this without whipped cream and strawberry. The consistency of the cheesecake was great! Taste was point on. Although I don't care for caramel with it I tried the caramel and mmmmmm. Cheesecake was a great way to end. Overall fantastic experience. Our waitress was lovely. Staff was wonderful. Food was delicious. The ambiance was cozy and cute. If you are in the area recommend coming here for a nice dinner.
