Spoke to Peter today about my 2015 Dodge Ram that was having transmission problems. Their transmission person was on holidays so they sourced it out for repairs only to be advised that the people they sent it to were too busy to start repairs for two weeks. Peter offered a loaner truck until mine came back which was more than a fair offer and more than I have received at any other dealership I have ever dealt with. Fortunately I did not sell or trade in ( and never will) my 2005 Dodge Ram so I do not require a loaner at this time. Peter said if I change my mind to call back and he would make it happen. From the original purchase of my Dodge too now; Kingston Dodge have been nothing but helpful and accommodating. Extremely poor customer service. General Manager gives little priority to service customers. He will defer any mistakes back to you and anyone else he can point a finger at. When McDonalds makes a mistake on a drive through order, "Sorry" is adequate; I think something more than an insincere and cowardly apology is required when an automobile dealership/service centre turns a quick recall/oil change into a broken truck and lost work time on Monday (and beyond?), leaves your work truck unlocked in an ungated yard with valuable tools inside ("That's what insurance is for" they will tell you) ("We do lock checks every night!" Well i guess not when the service guys are taking off Friday evening), and makes insufficient attempts to contract the vehicle's driver when a fleet service (providing reduced profit margains) is involved. Oh and when they ask you if you will need a shuttle when you book an appointment, they will not have a shuttle there for you at that appointment time. When you tell them you are calling a cab, they won't give you a cab voucher. I guess that small luxury is a thing of the past. The General Manager actually threatened to call the Police when I said I would leave this 1 star review. Just stay clear folks. read more

Kindness goes a long way... I rented a car from Budget but they gave me this big SUV. And what do you know... the engine light came on. When I called Budget where I rented the car, not only were they not helpful but they told me to go to a Dodge dealership to have them check the car! I've never heard of such a thing! So I was in the middle of Canada, driving in the rain, and dark, with lightning! I didn't have many choices. Plus our drive was eight hours. When I stopped in the Dodge dealership I wasn't sure if they were going to help us, I mean we weren't spending any money. I was so happy to hear Ken and another guy were willing to come out to help us, no questions asked! He explained the car could still drive and the engine light was just an indicator that they need to do an oil change at a certain mileage. There was nothing we needed to worry about. He also showed me how to use all the special things in the car. I was glad we weren't going to end up on the side of the road! I love when people surprise me! Always wanted to work there was very excited when I had my interview went through the whole process only to be told that I would not be hired because I have no references found that very disappointing and down putting I'm a very hard worker and take pride in my job. Kingston Dodge has adopted the policy that they 'will not' negotiate on any vehicle in their lot. What you see is what you get -no exceptions. They claim "this is what our customers want". Well, this is not what this PAST CUSTOMER wants. In this time of economic uncertainty the car dealers should be the last ones telling customers what they want! As we are now all partial owners of these companies, it's time to re-evaluate the customer service strategies to develop loyalty and not alienate those customers who were once supportive of this business and brand. I was a certifiable Honda/Acura owner for the last 20 years, but did not like the Honda "truck" (just an SUV in disguise). As I needed a truck and did some research into what I wanted, I went to Dodge, who treated me better than Honda, gave me a great deal (yes I did my homework) and then have looked after me like a valued client ever since (bought it a year ago). They remain polite, quick and responsive. I am more impressed than I thought I would be.....keep up the great work. read more

We are very happy with our purchase. The price quoted on the email was exactly the price when we arrived. The salesman explained all the features of the vehicle and was very helpful. We could not have been treated better. We will definitely recommend this dealer and John as an honest person as a salesman. Bought a used car from here, they did the safety themselves and didn't think that a scratched window that causes glare and streaks were cause for concern, when I complained about it the staff and managers were rude and arrogant.
