They said there was no issue and that it was 100% safe to drive. This led to our engine completely failing on the side of the highway. After further investigation, it was found that Petrie did not fully investigate the issue we were having, and instead only looked at one small component/possible source of the issue. Their inability to completely and thoroughly diagnose the issue led to putting us in an extremely dangerous situation where we literally could have lost our lives. It was negligent behaviour that they continue to refuse to take accountability for. This situation was preventable, but resulted in us being stranded in on the highway in another province (with no assistance to get home from the dealership) and requiring us to completely replace the engine. On top of that, Chris, the Service Manager, has the most disgusting attitude we have ever witnessed. Even the GM-to-be, Lisa, admittedly described him as "defensive" in a face-to-face conversation that we had with her about our situation.... Doesn't instil a lot of trust if the GM is aware of this behaviour and continues to employee these people. If you ever have a problem with the service you receive, you will never get resolution from the dealership level Do yourself a favour and bring your vehicle elsewhere.

I am writing to convey my utter disappointment and frustration with the complete lack of…read moreaccountability and customer appreciation demonstrated by your dealership throughout my recent experience with my Audi Kingston. What began as a simple piston slap inspection for a warranty recall--originally quoted as one hour of labour--somehow ballooned into three hours, with little to no justification. This, coupled with the identification of a potential major roller rocker issue which is a know failure point (as I was told by the service tech and from many online forms that Audi Canada does not want to own up to), already had me questioning the transparency of your service department and the integrity of your sales department as this should have been caught in the pre sales inspection. Not long after, my A7 suffered a catastrophic failure of the main wiring harness, when I went to take it to another shop for the original issue effectively rendering the vehicle inoperable. To add insult to injury, this occurred after I had already invested time and money The result? The estimated cost of repairs was over $40,000-65,000 for 1 month of use. I was left with a major financial loss after being forced to trade in the vehicle following only 840 kilometers of use. The sheer audacity of how this situation unfolded--combined with the dismissive attitude from both Audi Kingston and Audi Canada corporate--is beyond comprehension. To experience such a severe mechanical and electrical failure on a flagship model, with no ownership of responsibility from those representing the brand, is an embarrassment to what Audi Kingston claims to stand for. Audi promotes itself as a brand of precision, performance, and integrity. Yet my experience has revealed none of those qualities. Instead, I was met with indifference, poor communication, and a complete disregard for customer loyalty. Losing more then half of its value in less than a thousand kilometers and a month of ownership is not an "unfortunate circumstance"--it's a failure of service, accountability, and basic ethics. I have been an Audi Kingston customer for quite a few years and have bought quite a few cars from them and have had some kind of issue with each sale. They are most likely going to reply "you should have bought the extended warranty" well I wanted to and mention that we could look at it when I picked the car up but it ended up being EOD and when I asked and was told that I had 90 days to get it. When I asked about it 2 weeks later as I wanted to get it and was told that they would get back to me with #'s. Then I brought the car in for the recall notice and was then told they can't give me a warranty until I perform the repair $12-37,000. I am no longer an Audi customer and would suggest not to buy from here.

While it did take months to finally get an appointment to drop off our car, the process in person was quick and painless - shout out to Candice for the help! Everyone we encountered at this dealership was super lovely and helpful. Overall it was a great experience.
