They just talked in circles and claimed they didnt have to dye at the time and couldn't have known it was leaking blah blah blah. Total BS. The first thing they would do is check the pressure of the hoses before filling with freon and that would show immediately that it was leaking and not going to hold the freon. They filled it anyway so they could charge me more money since I already told them I would not be spending big bucks to fix this car.

I told them I had the parts needed for the torque converter, and I was to have them install said parts. They called me back and told me that they didn't think that the problem was just with the torque converter, so they didn't install any or all of the parts. They wanted to check it further, I decided against it. I took the car to yet another mechanic and they immediately noticed two front transmission mounts were split, which was never noticed by Kingston Transmission. A third mechanic found the issue was a clogged filter, all along. It's been running fine ever since. There would have been no way around that filter, so I have reason to believe it was seen by Kingston Transmission's mechanic. Getting a second opinion is always a good thing.
