I was not disappointed. I waited about five minutes after which I was brought into the service bay and the oil change began. The service was prompt. The staff were knowledgable and courteous, and I have nothing but good things to say about Simran, Bhanu, and Robin. They were friendly and helpful in pointing out areas where my tundra truck was behind in its maintenance schedule, but they were not pushy. And when I used the online coupon in payment, the cost was Just slightly less than what I have been paying at my local family owned garage for the same service. Once the service was completed and the invoice paid I received an email which included a coupon for my next oil change. All in all an excellent first experience with the great Canadian oil change.

We were able to pull off the road to figure out what as wrong with our vehicle, which was just recently serviced by Great Canadian Oil Changers. The vehicle wouldn't move in any direction and there was a loud whining sound. Fearing the worst, we had the vehicle towed home. That was the first 300.00 for a membership and towing fees . Like any trusting customer, the first place you call is the last service station to been under the hood. I inquired about any potential issues to cause the out of character behaviour our vehicle. I spoke to the manager to discuss my situation after reviewing my invoice which didn't note any potential issues or anything requiring a follow up appointment. After describing what had happened on the highway with my vehicle and my assumptions on the issue that my transmission was damaged . Seems my transmission fluid level had never been checked at any of the oil changes I had paid for. In reality the manager informed me that only a dodge dealer could check the transmission fluid level with a dodge specific gauge which only a dodge dealer has. The manager also informed me that the "young new worker" his words. Didn't know how to check the transmission fluid anyhow. So on the list of fluids checked beside transmission level - full. This is what is indicated . I ended up having my transmission replaced to the tune of almost $ 7000.00 . What was this manager willing to do you ask, well he hoped he didn't lose my business and offered me a discount on my next oil change. Beware of this shop!

Took it back to D&N and the mechanic said it was OK and I was only smelling gas as they had just changed the pump. They would not do anything else for me. On July 10, 2018 I took my car into Petersen's Garage, 1493 Counter Street, Kingston, Ontario for…read morean e-test and oil change. I was never told he was not authorized to perform the e-test inspection and the car would be tested at a different garage that was a certified facility. If Petersen had check the Ontario Drive Clean website he would have found the e-test on my car was free on charge. Petersen decided he would legally scan the computer and eliminate the codes and lights on the dash. He was not authorized to this unnecessary work on my car. He charged me $170.00 for this work which was eventually free of charge from the certified e-test facility. This was another way to scam his customers and fraudulently increase his invoice. While taking my car for a test drive to adjust the changes to the computer after the e-test, the mechanic drove the car into the ditch denting the fender and smashing the headlight. No one from Petersen's garage apologized for wrecking my car or discounted my invoice. The so called road test was to take the car to the authorized e-test facility to have the test done there and receive the inspection report. The next day I brought the car back for Petersen to replace the headlight and fix the fender. When I picked up my car it was worse than before. The fender didn't fit right. There were gaps in the body were the fender met the body and the headlight beam was aimed in the ditch. Instead of having 2 large dents in the fender, I now have 8 smaller dents. On July 13, 2018, I took the car to an auto body shop to get an estimate to repair the damage caused by Peterson's Garage. The estimate came to over $1,100 That same day I gave Gunner Petersen the estimate. He said he would pay for the damages. I called the auto body shop back and told them Petersen has agreed to authorize the repairs and pay them directly. For the next two months the auto body shop attempted to call Gunner Petersen to authorize the repairs and payment. Instead of taking responsibly for wrecking my car he decided to run and hide like a little child.
