    my 2013 Dodge Journey was brought to Great canadian oil changers @ 2446 princess st to have a oil…read morechange completed. car was completed and nothing was noted on the work order as requiring further service. the car was driven to belleville 4 days later, while travelling east bound returning to Kingston the suv started making awful noises and loud whining. We were able to pull off the road to figure out what as wrong with our vehicle, which was just recently serviced by Great Canadian Oil Changers. The vehicle wouldn't move in any direction and there was a loud whining sound. Fearing the worst, we had the vehicle towed home. That was the first 300.00 for a membership and towing fees . Like any trusting customer, the first place you call is the last service station to been under the hood. I inquired about any potential issues to cause the out of character behaviour our vehicle. I spoke to the manager to discuss my situation after reviewing my invoice which didn't note any potential issues or anything requiring a follow up appointment. After describing what had happened on the highway with my vehicle and my assumptions on the issue that my transmission was damaged . Seems my transmission fluid level had never been checked at any of the oil changes I had paid for. In reality the manager informed me that only a dodge dealer could check the transmission fluid level with a dodge specific gauge which only a dodge dealer has. The manager also informed me that the "young new worker" his words. Didn't know how to check the transmission fluid anyhow. So on the list of fluids checked beside transmission level - full. This is what is indicated . I ended up having my transmission replaced to the tune of almost $ 7000.00 . What was this manager willing to do you ask, well he hoped he didn't lose my business and offered me a discount on my next oil change. Beware of this shop!

Got a call from place doing my tires that I had 3 of my own tires and one of someone else's and a summer one at that. It has been a complete nightmare trying to get my tire back from them and the wrong one picked up. I wanted them to del it to me because I live half hr away and it was there screw up after all. As others have mentioned BRAD the manager is a complete joke. I fear I am never going to get my tire back. Reports to head office and better business have been sent.     Went in asking for an AC repair/refill and radiator replacement. Brad (the mechanic) assured me…read morethere was no leak in the AC along with any other issues related to the AC. Refilled the AC unit with refrigerant. Next day, dropped the truck off for radiator replacement. Once rad was completed, wen to pick up the truck. AC didn't work. Alex (the guy behind the front desk) told me there must be a leak and that Id have to schedule another appt to have it serviced. I bring the vehicle to Canadian Tire for them to immediately tell me that there's a dead bird in the condenser and that they didn't even need to do a dye test because the dye they seen with the black lights was from midas. I'm left to believe given the information above, that Brad went to test his work, hit a bird, and didn't want to fix the issue he made. Did I mention I paid for all the AC issues as if they were fixed but am left without working AC? Unethical business practices, lack of accountability, no pride in their work. Who runs this place? Whomever it is, they should look themselves in the mirror and give their heads a shake. I have contacted head office.
