It's like a usual Costco Warehouse. Members have access to reasonable prices and good quality. They have fresh meat, dairy product and fruits. You can always find great grocery deals here. First - be aware of the price of items in your local grocery store and your ability to consume all you purchase at Costco before it rots. Gas prices are always better at Costco than elsewhere. Go to the butcher and ask for a 10 pound chubb - this is a 10 pound bag of ground beef - it's a mix of all the beef they ground - it averages 92 to 96% lean. I generally do this in the summer when hamburgers on the grill are what's for dinner... a lot. Recently got a great rental car price - rented a Grand Cherokee for 5 days for just under $500 including tax - without it - it would have been over $700 before tax. I've been to a lot of Costcos around Quebec and Ontario. It's usually one of my favourite places to go. So much fresh food and it's so cheap! However, the staff at this location seemed a little rude and unprofessional. I had to return a product that I recently bought and I had a question about the return policy of another product. The lady who helped me barely looked at me during the entire transaction. She kept chatting with her coworker and making jokes. She'd glance at me and give me my card, but she'd the continue to chat without telling me what she needed me to do. It felt very unprofessional, but I can understand. However, when I asked about the return policy of the other product, she answered in a fairly condescending way and it felt like she was mocking my questions. I usually love the Costco staff and I usually find them nicer than other stores'. However, this is a very bad experience. Their food was still fresh though! read more

Costco can be an overwhelming experience, but this location is on the smaller side, so it's pretty manageable, if you know what you are heading in for. We picked up wild sockeye salmon on our last trip, which was a fantastic find in the meats/fish section. The produce is good, the meats are great, and we cruised the aisles for a few other items. What I do love about this Costco (and most Costco's, generally) are the amazing staff members. Costco really does work hard to employ good people who care about their customers. read more

I've always shopped at Costco when volunteering at different hot meal programs within Kingston. The fresh foods are the best and usually the best price for the volume of goods needed to feed 50-75 people, pre-pandemic. The staff have been courteous and very helpful. This is the worst Costco. The staff are always too busy and overwhelmed. The staff freak out on you if you don't show your Costco membership card Jonny on the spot. There are some bait and switch pricing in the electronics department. The customer pick up cards to take to the cash will only be of the more expensive model, when the cheaper model is displayed on the shelf. The free sample offerings are very hit and miss. There are some old fogies that like to take their time at customer service, while the line up is to the door. Customers often have to park far from the building because the parking lot is usually busy. There is a booth that sell cell phones and subscriptions. It takes a whole afternoon wait to get a phone. If you plan on getting a cell phone plan, plan to wait a whole afternoon. There is a food counter in the store, but the seating area is always full of old fogies, the same old fogies that hold up everything else in the store. Enjoy. read more

I am very disappointed in Costco! To think that I pay to shop in a store that tells me which form of payment I can or can not use! Usually it doesn't matter to me, but this month it did! I will not be renewing my membership! read more
