I called on Monday afternoon with an exhaust system problem, and they booked me into an appointment for Wed at 1pm. They took my truck in at the scheduled time, and less than 10 mins diagnosed a rusted and broken flange from exhaust pipe. They took me into the bay and showed me the issue. Gave me amount quote and time to fix. Also showed me a secondary unrelated issue, noting it could wait but to monitor it. They were backing the truck out of the bay just as I was returning at their estimated time of completion. Cost I paid was exactly was I was quoted even though a 3rd really minor issue with the muffler was identified that they also fixed. Quick, simple, honest and professional.

I took my 2000 Buick LeSabre Limited to Mister Transmission almost 2 months ago and spoke with Matt…read moreabout it. I asked him if he could check my transmission. I told him that I have to wait for the car to warm up before it will slip into gear. I asked Matt to look at the car and call me with an estimate. He called a few hours later and said that the transmission needed $5500 +tax in order to be fixed. I told him I would think about it for a few days. I decided that same day to pick the car up and not have it repaired by Matt. After picking the car up I took it to another local mechanic and told him about the issue. He took it for a drive and said that the transmission was fine. He said he believed that the filter was completely plugged. It turned out to be nothing more than a filter change. Since then I've put 5000km on the car and it's still running like new. I find it suspicious that Matt wouldn't see the clogged filter when he claims he looked at the transmission and deemed it "completely shot". Not impressed at all.

They called me later that day to say they went ahead and fixed it by just refilling the freon that was empty and it would be $600. I picked it up and the A/C was blowing cold so I was like whatever, it works. 1-2 weeks later it stops working. They told me to bring it back in. Then they give me this whole story about how they put dye in the lines and can see its leaking massively from multiple areas and would be at least $1600 to fix. I asked what the diagnostic charge was for if they never diagnosed it, just filled it up? They just talked in circles and claimed they didnt have to dye at the time and couldn't have known it was leaking blah blah blah. Total BS. The first thing they would do is check the pressure of the hoses before filling with freon and that would show immediately that it was leaking and not going to hold the freon. They filled it anyway so they could charge me more money since I already told them I would not be spending big bucks to fix this car.
