Spoke to Peter today about my 2015 Dodge Ram that was having transmission problems. Their…read moretransmission person was on holidays so they sourced it out for repairs only to be advised that the people they sent it to were too busy to start repairs for two weeks. Peter offered a loaner truck until mine came back which was more than a fair offer and more than I have received at any other dealership I have ever dealt with. Fortunately I did not sell or trade in ( and never will) my 2005 Dodge Ram so I do not require a loaner at this time. Peter said if I change my mind to call back and he would make it happen. From the original purchase of my Dodge too now; Kingston Dodge have been nothing but helpful and accommodating. Also don't know why this shows I am in San Francisco.......I am in Kingston Ontario Canada

Extremely poor customer service. General Manager gives little priority to service customers. He…read morewill defer any mistakes back to you and anyone else he can point a finger at. When McDonalds makes a mistake on a drive through order, "Sorry" is adequate; I think something more than an insincere and cowardly apology is required when an automobile dealership/service centre turns a quick recall/oil change into a broken truck and lost work time on Monday (and beyond?), leaves your work truck unlocked in an ungated yard with valuable tools inside ("That's what insurance is for" they will tell you) ("We do lock checks every night!" Well i guess not when the service guys are taking off Friday evening), and makes insufficient attempts to contract the vehicle's driver when a fleet service (providing reduced profit margains) is involved. Oh and when they ask you if you will need a shuttle when you book an appointment, they will not have a shuttle there for you at that appointment time. When you tell them you are calling a cab, they won't give you a cab voucher. I guess that small luxury is a thing of the past. The General Manager actually threatened to call the Police when I said I would leave this 1 star review. Just stay clear folks.

Took my Acura in for a window regulator replacement. Part was on back order. Dealer taped my…read morewindow up so I could continue driving the car until it showed up. 3 months on backorder and had it replaced today. They peeled the tape off in pieces and left bits of tape all over the car from trying to remove it with a pressure washer. Destroyed my window seal, door skin and window switch plate in the process of removing them to do the job. Beware of this dealership work quality is absolutely disgraceful. Still waiting to hear back on a resolution. All parts will have to be replaced as I'm not accepting damage like this on a basic job.

Did they try to steal parts off my 2020 CRV? Brought my 2020…read moreCRV in for a routine oil change and brake fluid change. I watched the technician struggle to remove the front shield to access the oil filter. I watched him pull the shield down and struggle to pull the front off, which I found peculiar because all you do, is unbolt the shield and it should drop straight down. He then inspected the shield, showed it to another technician and placed it aside. He then proceeded to do the oil change, and when he was finished, he backed the vehicle out of the bay without replacing the shield. I brought this to the attention of the service advisor. He immediately went out to see what the problem was. After a few minutes he brought the shield in to show me that the screw holes were damaged and that it could not be reinstalled in this condition. He then proceeded to tell me that It was caused by road damage when you could clearly see that the front mounting had been twisted and freshly broken away from the bolt. I would also mention that this vehicle has only ever been touched by Honda technicians. He still tried to convince me that it was road damage, and I told him that I watched the technician bend and pull the shield off the vehicle. He also tried to convince me that I could just drive it without the shield. At no time did the service technician bring the part to the service advisor and he was going to leave it off without telling me. The service advisor, then went back to speak with somebody (I assume it was a service manager) and when he came back out, he told me that he would order a new part and call me when it comes in. No apologies or explanation as to why the technician was going to keep the part. All I can say is that Kingston Honda's service department has a long way to go before they ever regain my trust and I can't wait for my warranty to expire so I can have it serviced someplace else!

TLDR: There are dozens (if not hundreds) of dealerships looking for your business. I HIGHLY…read morerecommend purchasing from another dealership that treats you with respect and values your business - not just your initial purchase. I had a genuinely positive experience purchasing my vehicle, which makes what followed even more disappointing. Less than six weeks after the purchase, the car completely died. I contacted Car Loft multiple times, and despite leaving messages and being told the issue was documented in my file, I never received a callback. I'm assuming it wasn't intentionally ignored, but it certainly speaks to professionalism and their commitment to their vehicle purchases. Two weeks after that repair, the vehicle is now making another concerning noise, creating yet another urgent and costly situation. This time I was finally able to get someone helpful on the phone, and they were not interested in taking a look to see if they could even help, let alone offering assistance in any other way. There are hundreds of other places to get your car from. Pick one that stands by the vehicles they sell! It's not worth the headaches.
