The food is wonderful, the macaroni and cheese is the only kind i will eat and i can actually enjoy it, and where the texture is perfect. The potatoes are phenomenal, everything is always restocked. Kings Wok always draws a decent crowd, we've eaten here before and it's always been good....now it's time to check it out with pandemic protocols. Masks not required for fully vaccinated but I'd say over 1/2 the guests were wearing masks and 100% of the staff was masked. They require all guests to use disposable gloves at the buffet and have hung plastic sheets between booths. There was one to two employees cleaning the buffet tables at all times and the food was kept fresh with the standard fare typical at most Chinese buffets. All in all a good meal - one observation was the huge number of guests coming in for takeout. Great to see! read more

King wok is the lone Chinese restaurant in Malone New York. At this point, as number one recently closes doors. The food is always fresh here and there is a extremely large selection, especially during peak hours from 5:30 p.m. p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on pretty much every night. Service is absolutely top notch, so much so that on my most recent visit I accidentally left my sunglasses on the table and our waiter ran outside in the freezing cold and handed them to me while I was in my car! If that isn't A+ service, I don't know what is! read more

Lets say for $10 for dinner you do get what you pay for -especially all you can eat- our booth was like sitting on wood and springs- all those hefty fellow diners have ruined the seating.... it needs replacing.... the selection was poor and so was the food- Not worth it to me. This is a pretty good family restaurant to eat at. Their food is always delicious and there is a vast selection to choose from. The staff seems friendly and always appear clean, which is important to me. I really love the black pepper chicken and for the crowd that doesn't like Chinese dishes their is a nice selection of American style food. If you like yummy drinks, ask for a ''Shirley Temple''! The reason that I didn't give them 5 stars is because sometimes during the afternoon hours the food can be a little bit cold -- but this isn't always the case and don't let that stop you from checking it out in the afternoon because sometimes they have some interesting and new dishes out on the buffet to check out. read more

The food is very good, in my opinion: My only complaint- wish they would offer something different for dessert occasionally- like cherry filled tarts or warm chocolate chip cookies, for instance. My advice: Skip the hot American food options- if you want pizza or french fries, go somewhere else. Oriental food is what they do best. read more

The waitress was very friendly and came back a couple of times to take our plates and see if everything was ok. The food was terrible. I tried different kinds of chicken as I really like it but all of it had an old taste and was chewy. Once I tasted it, I didn't finish it. The crab rangoon was all cream cheese, no crab. The only thing that was edible were the green beans. We were very disappointed and won't go back. They were busy and obviously some people like it. The food wasn't fresh. That said, I'm from NYC and have experienced more than my fair share of Chinese Food. (And I've been to Hong Kong and Mainland China...) The fried rice has huge chunks of onion, pork etc... tastes great! The Wonton soup is 'packed' with tasty wontons and is then crammed with tons of scallions!!! I came in by myself, and was quickly taking to a table but before the hostess finished seating me I was loudly asked what I wanted to drink. I had no idea since I hadn't even sat down yet! I asked what they offered, sat down and then got up to start getting food. I came back started eating salad, and was almost done and ready to get the main course when my waitress told me I must really like my drink and offered me a refill, I accepted since it was a free refill and went up to get main course food items. When I came back the waitress had a to-go cup on my table and told me I could take my drink to go! I looked at my full plate and at her smiled and kept eating and drinking. About 5 mins later she took it upon herself to pour my half drank Shirley Temple into the to-go cup top it up and hand me the bill. Since I wasn't finished eating I told her ok, but did not rush to pay. She came over again and told me I needed to pay with her, I told her ok and paid. I then sat there and played on my phone while she stared at me. The place was empty so it's not like I was taking a table from someone else. Our first experience was on New Year's Eve they were very busy. The food was superb. The Buffet was kept filled and very clean. The waitress was on the spot and used plates were never left on our table. Probably the best buffet of this sort I have ever been to. read more

the food is good but the woman who brings the food out dumps old cold food on top of the fresh food so u get a mix of cold and hot food its gross! there was one piece of crab left in the shrimp mix and she took that one little piece and put it on the fresh food :X and guess who got it... me. read more
