Our massage therapist, Jillene, was absolutely amazing! She made us feel comfortable and gave some of the best massages we've ever experienced. Her demeanor was calm, personable, and knowledgeable -- she pointed out where I was holding tension and offered helpful tips on posture and other habits that could be contributing to it. They were able to schedule me less than 30 minutes after I called, and I met my practitioner Anna as soon as I walked in. The place is no-nonsense and straight-forward -- and the massage was epic. I was given the option of soft, medium, or hard pressure, and I opted for hard - and I was not disappointed. I don't know where Anna obtained her skills, but holy sh!t was it one of the absolute best massages I have ever, ever had. I live in the area and the fact that I was able to get in same-day put this place over the top. I got a traditional massage, but they also offer foot massages and chair massages, all at reasonable rates. Next time I'll opt for the 90 minute, this place is absolutely excellent. From checking in, to dining all the way the family activities (smores), everyone was friendly, helpful and genuinely warm making people feel welcome. Service wasn't feigned or scripted - it was real and even when it was busy, the staff took care of business. Room was comfortable and clean. Not extravagant - think Southern charm. Bathroom wasn't cramped, water pressure good and temperature nice and hot. Quiet (we had a corner room) and we couldn't hear anything. Not even when neighbors opening or closing their door. Even had a workspace if you were working while you were supposed to be on vacation. Amenities included shuttle to and from the park. Pool and Spa (didn't partake). Went to the bar/restaurant - see other review and an on site convenience store. Free parking. I'm sure there are more but that's just all that comes to mind because we were for the park. That's also in another review. Anyway - to sum it up, it's not quite a luxury resort - but a place that offers heartfelt comfort wrapped in Southern Hospitality. If you know Dolly's story, it kinda captures her spirit - warm, sincere and touches of joy. They called back quickly and got me scheduled to be seen at 1:30. I was welcomed, filled out a short form and was in a room within 5 minutes. Haley got right to work on my issue. I have gone to massage therapy and chiropractors regularly for several years. I say this with total honesty, she is one of the best I have ever had work on me. She is extremely thorough and extremely caring. She used her knowledge ,strength ,and personality to do everything she could to try to get me some relief. She DID just that. I left being able to move my neck without pain. It was still very sore but the pain was so much less. I don't post a lot, but she definitely deserves this. It was the least I could do. And now I'm in the system just in case I'm ever in need while in Pigeon Forge.
