The food is average for an Asian Buffet. The food variety is above average. The ambiance is average for this type of restaurant. I always look forward to General Tsos Chicken. That guy must really get around to a lot of Asian buffets. With General Tso, you pretty much know what you are going to get. This would have been a 4 star review. However our entitled waitress changes it to 1 star. Our tab for 3 was just below $60. The waitress brought the tab back for my tip and signature. While chit chatting, I thought I would only leave a small cash tip because hey....THIS IS A BUFFET and what exceptional "service" is happening? Side note: (Ever wonder why most buffets including Golden Corral keep the beverages including water unavailable for customer refills? It's so wait help, can re-fill your water or bring you a beverage. They certainly do not bring any food to your table. And...yeah they hope you will tip for them bringing you water. ) Back to the story: I filled out the total, and crossed out the tip line as I would tip very little...in cash. I'm pretty sure waitresses even prefer a cash tip anyway. So the moment I filled out the bottom line, the waitress rushed to the table and said "no you are wrong and pointed to the suggested amounts of 20-30% or whatever is "suggested." I told her I don't typically tip very much as this is a BUFFET restaurant. Buffet restaurant meaning I get my own food and select what I want without the assistance of any waitress. Incredibly, she wouldn't leave our table and continued to insist I fill in a tip amount on the visa receipt. Frustrated and upset I told her to "go away" as she was hovering over our table. Unless this tip is really a mandatory charge, like some higher end restaurants are beginning to state on menus these days, I will tip accordingly. The not cash tip ended on the visa card at $5. Who knows what she was thinking? Maybe she though we were Europeans who do not typically tip? Maybe since it was a Monday evening business was quite dead and maybe her boss expects her to make her income from tips instead of any small hourly rate. If that's the case, perhaps the boss needs to re-think business practices? Regardless, this was the most aggressive self-entitled waitress I have ever experienced and will not be back. The restaurant is fairly busy and packed but there's a quick turnaround time so you'll get a table soon. The ambiance is very hustle and bustle. They have a large selection to choose from. I've seen this place but never actually tried it. Honestly it's a hit or miss, the prices are reasonable. They have a variety of food, hibabchi, sushi, however they do stop replacing food at a certain time so the food isn't always there. I believe we went in a Friday night, around 7:30pm they close at 9, around 8pm they no longer out new food out. However, they do have really good fried crab wontons and marinated crab legs. My grandson requested his birthday dinner be held at this restaurant last night. There were 14 of us, including an infant, a toddler, and two young children. The bill was $182.50 which included a $17 tip they added before bringing the bill. The food was good, but not the best local Chinese Buffet in the area. The buffet line had food on the counters which was not cleaned up between guests, so it got on our shirts when serving ourselves. Drinks were not refilled often enough, plates were cleared before people were done with them, and we definitely felt like they were looking for us to leave once I paid the bill, which, in hindsight I should have waited to do, as we were just getting desserts when I paid it. Also, I would have normally left more than the 10% tip they applied, so they cheat themselves by doing that. read more

It is a buffet so "service" is kind of unnecessary but employees in my experience have always been pleasant and helpful. Ok vegetarian but not vegan, I suspect. I base this review solely on one waitstaff individual. I was there with a friend tonight. I had gotten some soup from the buffet, and asked a female waitstaff for a soup spoon. The only utensils nearby were knives. She told me they were on my table. Then, with the dirty towel she had been cleaning surfaces on the buffet, she wiped off a bit of soup that had dribbled from my soup bowl, while I was standing there holding it! I looked at her in disbelief and disgust. I told her I refused to consume it after wiping it with her dirty towel. This has to be a violation of health codes. The lady's bathroom was dirty asf, pee on the ground & toilet paper piles in each stall. The food was not the best, the lo mien noodles were the only appetizing thing there. The staff was very rude to my spouse and had an attitude with him when he was just picking out food( could of asked to move nicely) when we sat down I asked what drink products were available and the server asked another coworker of hers what there was and he ignored her. She was nice and the one star is for her. The rest are rude asf. We paid $42 for two people during dinner and I could say that was definitely not worth the price. 12/18/2018 Visiting from out of town and found this place. After reading all the negative reviews, we realized that those reviews were BEFORE the renovation. Renovation looked phenomenal. Staff was quick to refill our drinks and remove the used plates from our table. Heck, before I could sit down with my crab claws and legs, the server met me at the table with the crab cracker. Dinner buffet - $11.99 as of this date. Everything we had was outstanding. Tucked away to the left of the desserts were the crab legs, stone crab claws and peel & eat shrimp with side of cocktail sauce. Note: these dishes are on ice so they are cold dishes. I try the Hibachi grill on our next visit. Not a big fan of sushi but from what I saw, everything looked great for sushi lovers. They had on this night (Wed), a great selection of shrimp dishes. I got kinda full from all the crab claws and crab legs but, next time I will skip lunch so I can get more variety of food here. If you came here before the renovation, I would urge you to give them another try and see if your experience was as great as mine. Except here they offer other stuff I never had at any China bofo's. They had over 6 different kinds of shkrimp, hella different rices's, and a big ass area for seafood: from snapper to cod, to crab claws and, especially to crab legs. Fo' sho, they got some crab legs, all you can eat, bitches! That's why they stay busy. There really aren't too many places that offer all you can eat crab legs, well, maybe Red Lobster but only after their corporation deems it possible to serve it to us. Fucking corportations, we like sea spiders with butter give us more! But I digress, the fact of the matter is that King's is a very good buffet at a fairly reasonable price: $11.99. What, that's too much for you to eat ALL YOU CAN EAT crab legs? Please, it may not be the brunch buffet at the Hilton but, it sure will fill you up. I feel bad because they really get overwhelmed with too many customers then the food smells oily/salty and only a few items are reasonably edible but with all the masses of people going through it ruins the appetizing quality of the food as it is presented at the buffet line, again I really don't blame them maybe they should raise thier price cause there did seem to be a lot of scrappy looking or mentally Ill looking patrons (those are the ones that can afford $7.99 once or twice a week.), if they raised their price to drive down the customer flow, and make room for the food to breath and look more appetising then the price increase will pay for itself. Peeled garlic fried shrimp is a better offer. The potstickers were dryed out and chewy from sitting, the sausage chunks were dryed out and stale too, the fried chicken wings were still decent, the ice cream was fine. The Mei Fun looked on point. King's Super Buffet is a really big Chinese buffet, pretty much what you might expect for dinner with the King Crab legs, mussels and so forth but also with $5.95 lunch special having a huge assortment, especially with sorts of chicken such as Chicken Chow Mein, Chicken with Broccoli, Chicken Moo Goo Gai Pan, Chicken with Snow Peas, Sweet and Sour Chicken, a Boneless Chicken, Garlic Chicken, Szechuan Chicken, General Tso's Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken and a Chicken with Cashew but all generally adjusted to the American taste bud. Overall I found it to basically be a belly filler low budget place with the ingredients rather subpar to mediocre but generally what you might expect for the price. My family of 1 went there on 06/12/22 for a late lunch. My daughter and I got there about 20 minutes after everyone did. The server was very attentive though the restaurant was packed. It was not comfortable, you had to squeeze through tables to get to the buffet and given the crown almost impossible to get to some dishes. The surrounding areas around the steam pans was dirty, young kids sticking their hands down the ice cream . The worst part was we were still eating, only about an hour and 15 mins into lunch when the owner/hostess came up to us and said "finish, there are people waiting outside" She was very rude about it and came to us twice. Mind you we went ahead and paid the bill early as the waitress was running from one end to the other. This turned off my appetite completely. We are regulars at this restaurant.
