STOP LOOKING! Need a locksmith? Urgently? For your car because you lost your only electronic fob? And had to have your car towed to your home because, well, you lost your key fob? One day, while my owner was on vacation, we had a lock malfunction at my work. I Immediately called King's Lock - based on some of my Yelp friends' previous reviews and recommendations. They were SO prompt. Literally within the hour a man was there to look at he broken lock. He made a suggestion for a temporary replacement, as the company did not carry the units currently installed on the door. I couldn't make any immediate decisions, but he gave me a full run-down of what we currently had installed and why he would recommend something different. I really feel like he took his time to help me understand the mechanics of locks (in a general sense) as well as on the security side. We ended up going with the lock mechanic's recommendation, and replaced all the locks on the exterior of our building instead of just the one that broke. I would highly recommend them for customer service and if you need something fixed quickly and efficiently. We paid a little higher price I think for the immediate service, but hey, the door doesn't ever cost as much as what is inside! So my friend got locked out of her apartment last night, and i was with her, I took it upon myself to help her. So I google locksmith in the area and King's mobile lock smith was the first one that came up. So I called mind you it was at 9pm. So I called I never called a locksmith before, so I was trying to ask him question about what's the fee for their service and he said $225 and I ask about other fees and he said I don't know you do the math. Bruh! That's is not how you answer to people that don't know nothing about locksmith. The reason why I asked is because your fee is $200 plus and I don't want to pay $400 for a 10 minute service. I hope you read this and change the way you answer to people that needed help. read more

It took several attempts to get the locksmith to our place of business. Once there the work was done properly and payment was required immediately. Payment made by personal credit card and an invoice was promised. Over a month later and the invoice has yet to be received despite numerous calls and promises made by the owner. I'm on the hook for several hundred dollars worth of work and cannot get reimbursed. Would not recommend doing business with this outfit. read more

I was stuck in a difficult spot lost my keys and the dealer was no help. Other locksmith recommended by the dealer messed up the key I ordered and these guys came to the rescue. I would recommend them any time. They were very professional and my emergency became their priority and I will hope to never need them again but will use them for all of my locksmith needs. read more

Got a call yesterday from someone close to me panicked that they'd lost their set of car keys, and they were stranded at the mall. Stopped at the dealership for a key replacement quote, and found out I wouldn't even be able to get my hands on one given the current shortages affecting almost everything. We went from 3 different keys and 3 different manufacturers to just Schlage locks. No more getting locked out or having the wrong key... now only one key! They showed up within 2 hours of calling... My husband is deployed and the kids and I were going on our first camping trip without him. It was an amazing trip!!! But it wouldn't have happened without the guys down at King's Mobile Lock!! We got to our campsite at Scenic Beach and couldn't find our camper keys anywhere. We drove back home and looked everywhere, but no luck. I called King's and they told me to come on down. Those guys got right to work and got us back on the road quickly with new sets of keys! This is a little "Diamond in the Rough" Shop. Didn't even realize I had a locksmith in my neighborhood. It's in a little plaza with not much else surrounding it in a building behind another building........ Anyway, They have Vehicles that perform house calls and in the Shop itself, it seems like they have every key known to man !! It's got a real "old school type shop" feel to it, they also have old locks & new even a few safes. Seems like they can repair anything with a Lock & Key. Keys guaranteed, if it doesn't work bring it back and they will make it right. A True small business that sets the example. I will return as needed. read more

Fast, cheap, and helpful. It took them literally 15 seconds to copy my key, and it cost $2.17. Sweet. As they were ringing me up, they also offered to check my housemate's Mercedes keyless key for something (ok, I don't know anything about cars :P) and offered some advice that would probably be very helpful if I actually owned and knew more about the car. They have 24 hour emergency services too... I will definitely remember that if I'm ever locked out of the car at 2am. read more

I had an interesting experience with this locksmith this morning. I happen to lock the keys in my pick up truck at about 5 o'clock this morning. So I gave them a call to see if I could set up an appointment for later in the day I called and spoke to the gentleman that answered the phone asked to make an appointment and made an appointment for 9 AM because it was cheaper at that time for him to come out. At the time I was willing to wait. A couple hours later I remembered I needed something out of my truck much sooner. I called him to see if you could come out immediately and I would be willing to pay the extra price. When he answered the phone I started the conversation by explaining that had called earlier and made an appointment. He then got very agitated and explained that he was trying to sleep. I was about to tell him I would like him to come out immediately. His rudeness was confusing since the website advertised 24/7 emergency service. I thought his attitude was offensive and so I just canceled the appointment thinking that there are other locksmiths that will come out to let me in my truck. When I told him that I think I'd like to cancel my appointment now he replied with an angry "GOOD". And hung up on me. I'm not a locksmith and I'm not sure how locksmith company works. But if it works like any other company it is for profit and they want to make money. And if they advertise 24/7 service to make money they should provide service not unwarranted attitude to potential customers looking to give them money for service. Unlocked the malfunctioning door of the house I am renting, and rekeyed the locks to match, far faster than the rental company (who decided to go to lunch instead), and did it all in less than thirty minutes. Called to ask about getting a key made and some fobs programmed. Was told, yes, they do that. Come in anytime and it will cost you less. Went in the next week. A new gal was solo in there and said she couldn't do anything yet, and that there was no one there to work on things. I was told to come back the next day at 2 or later as there would be someone there. I gave her my name and asked if they could let me know for sure, so that I wouldn't be coming back again for nothing, and could set an apt. Never heard anything. Called the next day about 1:45. She said that the person had run to do an errand, and that he'd be back in 15 minutes or thereabouts. I told her I'd head over then to get my work done, setting an apt I thought. Got over to the office to find a guy there working with a man who had come in right before me. I told the employee that I had come over the day before and had tried to set an apt for 2 or later the next day, the day I am in the shop. He said that he was working with someone and I'd be next. "In about twenty minutes or so" as it would take that long to program this guy's fob. I also needed a key made. I sat in my car as there is no where to sit in the shop, and it was a mess. He came out to check what kind of car I had at one point, otherwise I was just sitting out there. I went in periodically to check on what was going on, and to see if he was any closer to working with me, as the twenty minutes had definitely gone by a while ago. Another guy came in after me. He came back out about 45 minutes later, and said he'd make my key. I went back in as nothing else occurred after that and he never came back, and he said "Go ahead and try the key", and hands it to me, as it was sitting there done. I did. It got STUCK in my ignition. Wouldn't come out of the ignition. I went in to tell him, and he said he'd come out. He never did. After about another fifteen minutes I went back in and asked him for my original key and to see where the heck he was. I saw that he was done working with the guy who was there when I got there, and had started working with the guy WHO CAME IN AFTER ME??? Maybe because I was a woman??? I FINALLY got my key made by them out of the ignition after wrestling with it for a while, and drove home. This was AN HOUR AND A HALF after I had arrived, with NOTHING done at all. Never again. Unbelivable. Don't bother. Hopefully they are better at coming to YOUR car and getting it right. read more
