I've…read moreactually been putting off writing this review because I was so frustrated by the experience that I didn't really want to revisit it. Now, a year and $20,000+ later, I've probably willingly forgotten some of the most frustrating details, but unfortunately the issues we're continuing to find with the finished product finally prompted me to write it. The initial consultation and sales process were great, and I also really liked the color consultation service they partnered with, which allowed us to digitally visualize different options on our home. That said, because part of our exterior is vinyl, we were limited to vinyl-safe colors, and the designer wasn't up to date on which colors or paint lines qualified, so that part wasn't quite as helpful as it could have been. I will also give Pacific Exteriors credit for being very patient with me while I chose colors and even changed my mind a few times before the paint was purchased. Once the actual project started, though, things became pretty disorganized. What was supposed to be, if I remember correctly, roughly a two-week project ended up stretching over more than two months. We tried to be very understanding because we know exterior work involves weather, crews, materials and a lot of moving pieces. But this is also what a large, established company does every day, and we felt there should have been a much better system for managing the project and communicating with us. The biggest frustration was that communication was almost entirely reactive rather than proactive. As the project stretched on, we regularly had to reach out ourselves to ask when crews would be returning, what the schedule was, and when the work would actually be completed. Updates generally weren't provided unless we asked for them. There were days crews showed up when we weren't expecting them, and other days or weekends when we were specifically told they would be working, so we rearranged or canceled plans to stay out of their way, only for no one to show up and no one to communicate the change. There were also many mornings when trucks would arrive around 8 or 9, disappear, and then work wouldn't actually begin until around noon. We were genuinely patient about delays and understood that schedules change. What became difficult to excuse was being repeatedly left wondering whether anyone was coming and having to continually follow up ourselves for basic information about a project that had already gone weeks beyond its expected timeline. Unfortunately, the workmanship has also been disappointing over time. During the project, we had to walk through multiple times and point out areas that needed more attention or touch-ups. Within a few months, we already had some peeling. Now, about a year later, we're finding areas where the old paint is visible through the new paint, making it clear those spots weren't adequately prepped or covered. Most concerning, we've also discovered areas where entire strips of blue painter's tape were simply painted over. Those strips are now surfacing and peeling away with the paint. Before leaving this review, I reached back out to Pacific Exteriors to give them the opportunity to come take a look at these issues and correct them. Unfortunately, I received no response. Given how much we spent and how recently the work was completed, I would have at least expected an acknowledgment and an opportunity to discuss the problems we're seeing. I recognize that our experience may not be representative of every Pacific Exteriors project, especially given the number of positive reviews they have. That's part of why we gave them so much patience throughout the process and why I've hesitated to leave this review. But looking back, these weren't just occasional scheduling hiccups or a missed touch-up. A project we expected to take around two weeks stretched beyond two months, with us repeatedly having to initiate communication just to understand what was happening. For a $20,000+ exterior project, the communication, project management, preparation and attention to detail simply weren't what we expected from a company of this size and reputation. And now, only a year later, seeing peeling, inadequate coverage and other workmanship issues, and receiving no response when we've asked them to address those concerns, has made the overall experience even more disappointing.

We hired Juan about a month ago for a shower remodel. Overall, the work is ok, but definitely not…read moreprofessional quality and left a lot to be desired. The good: -competitively priced, one of the cheaper quotes we received -good quality materials: porcelain tile slabs -frequent communication -finished product seems to be functionally ok, for now -we had a toilet leak during the construction period, Juan reseated the toilet properly and fixed the leak promptly, this was much appreciated. The bad The work was overall sloppy, in many regards. First and foremost, after Juan installed the valve and plumbing, they caused a small leak into our living room below during water testing. This required them to open up the ceiling downstairs, dry it out, and patch up the drywall and repaint (see pictures below). This honestly freaked me out and increased my vigilance throughout the project. During shower door installation, they cracked one of the slabs requiring it to be replaced. This was fine, but the waterproofing patch job looked uneven and thin, but they did come out and re-coat it after I brought this up. The shower door hinges were poorly installed initially. The screws were not countersunk and sticking out; I even confirmed with the shower door manufacturer that this was not correct. We had a lot of back and forth about this; Juan eventually replaced the screws with ones that fit more properly. Wall edge at the end of the shower looks very uneven, and the caulking has cracked and the wall on the tub side even has a hole in it at the transition. On the last day, I asked them to replace the shower arm to raise our showerhead, as it was low; I purchased a gooseneck from Lowe's myself, but Juan initially told me "you can do it yourself" however because they already installed a standard shower arm. He did end up putting it in at the end but it was installed improperly; it was crooked, so I decided to replace it myself afterwards as I was already quite stressed with this project already and this was a simple fix. After taking the shower arm off, I found no teflon tape on the threads, but instead a thin layer of some kind of goo. I'm not a plumber, but teflon tape is generally recommended to seal the threads. I cleaned the threads off and installed the shower arm with properly applied teflon tape with a thin layer of pipe dope. At least the copper elbow in the wall felt solid. Overall, the wet area seems ok, we're not having any leaks (so far), and the shower is functional; however, I felt the project was rushed, communication, while frequent, was poor, and the end product is just sloppy. In the end I was told "I worry too much about everything." I'll post the pictures of the areas of concern and you can judge for yourself. We saved a few thousand dollars, but in hindsight, I wish I hired someone else and saved myself a lot of stress.

Then we found A.D. Master Construction. They quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed it correctly. The owner, Dmytro, came out personally to provide the estimate, which we appreciated. On the first day of the project, I had a few concerns, and Dmytro came out right away to address them. He took the time to explain everything, and I immediately felt confident we were in good hands. Ruvim did an excellent job with the siding--it looks fantastic. Most importantly, after testing, the leak is finally gone! We're very happy with the quality of the work and the overall experience. I would definitely recommend A.D. Master Construction and plan to use them again in the future!

I reached out on Yelp for a project regarding cost to vault a ceiling of a potential house I was considering to buy. Someone on the team said that they could come at 11am for a site visit. I asked once again on Yelp to confirm they were coming. I had heard that I would need advice from a structural engineer, and they said yes. Then, I called them directly again, to verify if the manager would be able to speak on the structural feasibility of the project. After calling the manager's number provided by the receptionist multiple times, there was no answer - maybe he was on the job. However, when my husband called AD Master again, he was able to reach someone and when he asked about the site visit, they said they didn't have our appointment on the books. We had to schedule once again on the phone. Long story short, someone did come (at 10am, not the agreed time) and they thought they were there for a deck repair. To be honest, he just seemed uncomfortable to have showed up to the wrong job site and didn't contribute much - no estimate of cost or work was shared by him. I liked the quality of work I saw on the photos, but would not likely hire them due to the poor communication so far. Edit response to AD Master: After speaking with your customer service agent, Viky, she shared that many of your employees do not speak English as a first language, causing the miscommunications. I am glad you are taking this seriously moving forward to improve the experience for future customers. As a result, I will raise my review to 3 stars.
